I originally bought this toy for my boyfriend as a playful gesture....we were chatting about kids and pregnancy and a toy hammer became our innocent secret joke. I love the product and its silly sounds which makes even my bf (who is also a big kid) laugh. Its a great gift for any curious toddler
My 13 month old son got this for Christmas and he loves it. I got it free with the Fisherprice workbench. It was a great deal. My son loves that it makes noise and lights up. Great tool type toy.
This came with the workshop bench and is and awesome hammer! It makes all different noise that kids love! It came free with the workbench but can be a bit pricey buying it alone.
My sister was so excited I got my niece a "boy" toy when I purchased the hammer for my baby niece, Amara. She's now 1 yr old as of 5/11/11 and the hammer was age, safety, and cost appropriate. It is a small hammer that makes noise when shooken or smashed or hit on a flat surface and the surface can be hard or soft or in between.
My son has so much fun with this hammer. I would recommed this toy to anyone.
. . .and their teachers love them, too, because they are not nearly as noisy as the hard plastic hammers we replaced when 12 toddlers are pounding on a table. The kids love having the on-off button to play with, too.
My 9 month twins enjoy this hammer. I like that it makes noise with almost no effort. Don't have any complaints here.
Our son is loving banging on things so we thought this would be a great gift. However this is on the heavy side for him. He won't play with this for long because it pretty much wears him out with the weight of it.
My 14 month old grandson likes to bang on everything, so I thought he would like this hammer, but he still prefers hammering with everything other than this. Waste of $ and batteries.
