Easy to assemble and sturdy. I use in my home and the mesh makes it harder for them to climb over as I have a toddler that's very large and strong for his age . Another Baby gate I had purchased he used the bars to pull him self out
Sturdy, lightweight, well finished.
Fits perfectly in the doorway. 10 mth old can climb up on it and it doesnt move.
Definitely does the job. Omg so much relief when I need you keep my daughter in her room. Perfect for children with Autism.
Worst item to put together. If I was visiting/traveling my visit would have been at least half way done before getting it assembled. The first gate of 2 I purchased nearly ended up in the trash. Best to put the bar across the top and bottom in their actual location before putting on the fabric covering. Don't measure, if it isn't really close it is just frustration to try and adjust with the cover on. I will not take mine apart if I travel, I will put them in the car whole as I stand a better chance to fit them in my destination than to reassemble them. Also, line up the bottom bar to the side poles at a 40 degree angle together and then turn into the bottom and slide the lock over the bottom bar. If you try and do it separately, the bottom bar does stay straight and you can never get the cover over the pin to lock. Once they are together and the upper and lower bar are sized properly they are a snap to get into place. If I had known about the hassle to put together, I would have purchased a different type. I keep thinking about the old style wooden gate I saw, it would have been so easy to put up.
I like the gate, but it doesn't seem to be straight when trying to put it in front of the stairs. It does work.
it's a gate kind of a pain to figure out but it is sturdy once up the right WAY
To hard for me to install
this gate is okay. Can be difficult to set up in certain areas, and some kids can easily pull it down. mine lasted a few months of daily use with three kids 1-5 years old, and four kids 7-10.
Didn't really keep dogs out
