My daughter has curly, thick hair. It helps ease the tangles but more importantly it eliminates the frizz and keeps her curls looking healthy. I've tried many other detanglling sprays and this one is the best!
My daughter has curly hair that always gets tangled, this works awesome! I've tried some other detanglers and tangles were left behind. With this no more tangles or crying when I brush her hair. I must admit I've used it on my hair to calm the frizz in the morning too.
This is the only product that really detangles the knots and tangles of my son's thick and curly hair. We cannot get this product where we live and we have tried many different other products ( until we can get more Johnson's Buddies No more Tangles) and nothing works remotely as good as this product. Love it!
When my granddaughter visits me, invariably we have to deal with bed head -- hair that is extremely baby-fine and in a royal mess on her crown. She hates to be brushed when that happens. But when I use the No More Tangles detangler, she's a lamb. It really smells good too.
This Johnsons Kids No More Tangles detangler is the worst detangler I have ever bought for my child. It works as if I just sprayed water into my child's hair. I would rather buy Suave Kids detangler or Loreal detangler for my daughter instead of this horrible product. I am very unhappy. It took me 30 minutes of pain for my poor daughter this morning for me to simply brush her hair when using the other products as mentioned above only take 2 to 3 minutes tops for each and my daughter has long thick hair. If I had my receipt I would request my money back, but I don't because who knew that a kids detanger wouldn't work. I am very unhappy and I will not recommend this product to anyone. This review required me to give at least 1 star in order to accept my review but even though it made me give it a star, this product doesn't deserve a star.
My daughter is 3 years old. We have been using it off and on her hair for a few months because she has wavey hair and it tangles easy now that it is longer. But I very lightly spray it on back of hair. Well I aloud her to spray it,(in front of me),on her hair and it dropped down her forehead and down to her check on one side. Then I wiped it off then five minutes later she took a bath and I notice her ehile face was red wear it had ran down her face. The area was irritated and warm.
This spray works to get the tangles out but after a couple uses we noticed our daughters skin getting red/splotchy where it was sprayed. After looking closer to the ingredient list, no wonder, it is all chemicals that any child's sensitive skin shouldn't be exposed to. I had hoped being made by a long trusted baby product company that it was safe for her skin, but looks like I will be avoiding their products until they reformulate with out all the "junk".
This spray has caused an allergic reaction on my nephew. After using it his face became irritated and now has to go to the doctor! You all need to reformulate this product or discontinue it altogether. There are many other reviews that mention an allergic reaction after using this detangling spray! 0 stars!
At first I noticed some blotchy patches after use on my daughter and thought they must have been part of her winter eczema. Upon use today some of the spray rolled down her forehead and nose leaving red inflamed skin where the spray had touched and red blotches throughout her hairline. I am usually pretty on top of my game checking food labels for chemicals, but hadn't considered detangler a big deal, especially since I had chosen a trusted brand until I checked the label...much of which requires investigation to find out what the chemicals are as they are not common knowledge. Seems as though Pinterest holds many better natural alternatives for hair detangler for those having the same issues.
i bought this thinking "oh it's cheap & Johnson's usually has decent products" but turns out it made everywhere the spray touched bright red & blotchy and slightly itchy. it was a scary flare. i had to immediately take a benadryl & hop in the shower and rewash my hair and body. very unfortunate :(
