i got this for my youngest daughter and i loved it she was a very big baby at 9 lbs 3 oz and she looked small in it. she slept very well in it the bedding was very easy to clean. I think that the best part of this bassinet is when people come to see your new baby and they fall in love with the bassinet too. the storage shelf on the bottom was very nice i always put her extra bedding under there and the wheels made it easy to take her room to room with me. all in all i loved this bassinet and i will be buying another one soon since im on my next baby. we wouldn't have to but our friend fell in love with the bassinet and we didn't need it any more so we gave it to him that was over a year ago and its still going strong
Purchased this for my third Grandchild. It was very pretty and she looked precious laying in it. A good buy as everwhere else that I looked on-line wanted so much more for it. Was worth the money.
Very pretty bassinet...Ive seen other similar ones in high dollar boutiques that were priced much higher! My only complaint is that the mattress is a bit thin and you will need to purchase a piece of foam and cut it to size and place beneath the existing matress. I gave this to my daughter for a shower gift and everyone there were oooing and ahhhing over it! Noone believed that it came from Wal Mart..Its sturdy and the hidden shelf beneath is perfect for babies neccesities you may want out of eye sight but still handy..I dolled ours up with some sheer ribbon and you can see the finished product...I definitely recommend this item...
I was really nervous about purchasing something without seeing it first, however this was more than i expected. This bassinet is amazing, i am not due until Febuary so i have not used it yet, my only concern is the mattress is pretty thin. I also found alternate bedding on the Badger Basket website! I was happy about that. Also this same bassinet if ordered straight from the badger basket company is alot more expensive. So walmart is the best place to order it from! Way worth the money!
I have seen many baby beds of all shapes and sizes in my 50 years, 4 children and 3 grandchildren and this bassinet is SIMPLY STUNNIING! It was purchased for my youngest daughter who is expecting her first child in June and when it arrived they couldnt wait to set it up.....they just LOVE IT! I am sure it will get plenty of use as soon as the baby arrives
When I opened the box & began taking all the items out I noticed that one of the wooden spindles was busted & split in half. I was devasted because I didn't want to take it back or mail the whole thing back in to wait another week for a new one with the same possibility of it happening again. BUT luckily while I was looking through everything else I found a spare kit it comes with!!! It had 2 extra spindles in it so I could replace the busted one! It was very easy to put together & now that it's up - ITS GORGEOUS! Now all I have to do is wait for my daughter to be born so it will be complete :)
I really like the uniqueness of the bassinet. It was easy to assemble. I love the color.

Horrible quality. I bought this item because I thought it would be a cute but safe option for my one month old, nine pound baby girl, upon inspection of the parts upon arrival, one of the wooden pieces of railing was broken in half and splintered, I assume this happens often because they sent spare pieces. The mattress was very poor quality and hard as a rock. The side rails were not sturdy and my daughter was able to frequently kick some of them out of place into the floor leaving a huge gap inbetween the others. This product bedding also puts infants at risk of dying from SIDS because if a baby rolls on their side like mine frequently does, the bedding for the sides of the crib are suppose to be on the inside of the crib which I did not realize from the pictures and they are bulky and a suffocation risk so I was unable to use them, the way the instructions tell you to attach them also makes it to where they easily droop and fall down. My daughter also frequently turned around vertically and when upset would kick the bed rails and also hit her head on the wood rails above her. I would like a refund because I have had to switch back to using our old bassinet and won't be able to continue to use this one with how unsafe it is.
