Great quality and arrived in excellent condition as I was worried about shipping furniture. The changing table was not difficult to assemble and the drawers are spacious. I do like the open area above the drawers for the baby items that are most used and you want to leave out for easy access. Overall, we are glad we went with this piece of furniture for the nursery!
We got the changing table and the dresser together and we are very pleased! We didn't want to spend a lot of month and I feel like this set was well worth the money! It came undamaged and when we put it together we found it to be very strong and sterdy, doesnt look like cheap furntiure!! Very pleased now we just need the baby to come so we can really try it out!!
It's not an open table changer. The two drawers help you store baby things and dust can't get to it. The upper shelf is perfect because that's where I put my diapers and wipies which is easy to access. I've seen other changers worth $400 and they are both made from the same kind of material. I just didn't want to spend that kind of money when the $400 changer was not even solid wood. This worked perfectly. The color is ideal and I love it.
simply put: this changing table is exactly what I was expecting to get!!! I got the combo changing table and 4-drawer dresser. this review is for both items. It is sturdy despite the wood products it is made of. Good paint quality (on the white one) I requested to pick it up at the store for the free shipping and I was impressed with the packaging. no issues there! Shipping time was appropriate and within the time frame. Excellent value for the money! First time parents, go for it. You won't regret it. that's all you need. Specifically on the changing table: I'm 6'02'' and it is high enough for me to change my baby without hurting my back. Only drawback: Even though the instructions are very easy to follow, it is difficult to assemble. mainly the drawers!!! my wife, who was with me, stated: i could not have done it by myself, pregnant or not!!!
This was a gift from my mother in law for our newest addition. (I did pick it out though) It is a very great price for what seems to be a very sturdy piece of furniture! It is the perfect height for a changing table. (I'm 5'8 so most others seemed to short for me, but not this one!) our only complaint is the directions were not clear at all. It was just a drawing diagram and had no words or ways to see which side (the white or the wood) went up or down. It took my husband and I a total of about 4 hours by the time we had to go back and reverse a couple mistakes. If I had it to do over I would still definitely purchase this changing table but I believe I would let Walmart put it together....The assembly time is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
We bought this b/c we don't have a lot of money and wanted a changing table that was not just an open shelf changer that would later become useless. This model was cheap enough to afford and styled enough to be used as a dresser for my child as she gets older. It is pressed wood with a cardboard backing but it is quite sturdy once assembled (roughly 70lbs). I bought espresso which is a dark dark brown that i totally love. Assembly time is roughly two hours b/c of all the pieces. It does have an odor when you first open the box but after it was assembled for a day the smell went away. It does not come with a changing pad but i bought the summer infant contour pad from walmart and it fits fine with about an 1" gap left to right. Very happy with purchase.
We were just a little disappointed in this changing table with the difficulty of the assembly and it wasn't quite as nice as we thought it would be. There was more particle wood than I thought and it can chip easily. But I guess it is pretty good for the price and the drawers are smooth and we like the color.
This is VERY dark wood, not like the picture at all. It looks almost black but it still matches my nursery so it wasn't a big deal. It's very pretty and sturdy. I did not realize it didn't come with the changing pad. This was very easy to put together I did it myself and I'm 35 weeks pregnant.
A piece was cracked, not exactly like pictured and the second day the bottom drawer fell off the rails and won't work any longer. Definitely NOT worth the price
Came with wrong/missing parts to assemble, and when the correct parts arrived, they still don't work properly on the drawers. The drawers fall of the track.
