I have bought 3 of these throughout the years. When my 3rd child was born, I, unfortunately, bought a different brand mattress, because it was cheaper. I regret that decision. So a few days ago I ordered this mattress again, because it worked so well with my first 2 children. My 1 year old boy sleeps so much better on this mattress. He doesn't wake up as much at night. This is the best crib mattress.
Thought I wanted a memory foam, but am so pleased with this purchase. Did a lot of research on mattresses. The foam mattresses I found were not dense enough or did not weigh enough. The coil spring mattress, for top of the line, should have 160 coils. THIS mattress has 150. I sat on it and layed on it for an hour to see if it was uncomfortable. I had no complaints. This is firm enough for support and comfortable. Bundle this mattress with the Sealy mattress cover and it provides just the right amount of cushion between the sheets and the mattress. The mattress cover is washable, just do not put it in the dryer (let it air dry).
This is a great mattress for the the price and quality. I do alot of research when it comes to baby mattresses for my children and this one was the best. It was in my budget and it has great reviews and ratings. I am still pregnant but I am sure that it will work great for my little one. The main thing I look for in a crib mattress is coils, reviews, and price. When it came it was in a large heavy duty plastic bag but the mattress was fine. Also it met the "fold" test meaning if you can fold it in half with no problems then it is not firm enough for a baby.
i recommend this mattress to everyone looking to buy a crib/toddler mattress because my baby sleeps so peaceful and the mattress never loses it shape, this mattress stays firm and well shaped plus it really is water proof because my baby knocked a big cup of water I had next to the changing table down in the crib and two towels wiped it up and the mattress was not damaged by the water at all it was bone dry.
perfectly fit the crib. is softer than other more expensive mattresses.
I love the mattress. All the other ones i was looking at were to soft for baby! This one is firm enough for their growning backs. My daughter also seems to love it!
I was a little reluctant to purchase this seeing how cheap it was, but I figured I'd at least give it a try. I'm so glad I did, it's very firm, but not too firm. It fits great in my Graco crib. I would buy this product over and over.
I THINK ITS A GOOD MATTRESS. ITS NOT TOO FIRM NOT TOO SOFT AND IT FITS SO WELL IN THE JAMES BETHANY SLEIGH CRIB I BOUGHT. NO REAL SPACING WHICH I THOUHGT WAS GREEAT!
Baby isn't here yet, so we can't say for sure...but we love this mattress. It will definitely be water resistant. Didn't have any kind of strong smell (which sometime comes with new items). It wasn't quite as firm as I thought it might be, but I should have known that from other reviews. Once we put the mattress protector and sheet on, it seems to be plenty firm for baby to sleep on. We love it!
when i went to walmart to buy a mattress they only had 2 different kinds. the other which was a flimsy kolcraft mattress, and this one. once i got it home and set it up it looks great in my graco lauren crib and it is very thick with not too much firmness and not too much softness. Im sure my son will love this when he comes home next week. oh and it was a great value also
