We bought this chair about 2-3 weeks ago and are loving it so far. It only took my husband about an hour to assemble. I love the color of the chair and it is really comfortable so far. My baby is not here yet, but I can already imagine us spending a lot of time nursing and relaxing here through the long nights. I am also loving being able to relax and elevate my feet when they are swollen at the end of the day. I am very happy with the purchase so far.
This is the best chair I have bought. Extremely comfortable.
I searched a while for a glider for our baby-to-be and decided on this one. I am so pleased with it, I love the color and the comfort. It went together pretty easily, took my husband and I about 40 minutes including the ottoman. Everyone who has sat in it says how comfortable it is.
Very nice glider and ottoman. I got this for my granddaughter who is expecting a baby. Her and her fiance put it together with no trouble. I ordered it in espresso with a brown cushion because of their pup, and it matches her crib and dresser. We are all very pleased with it.
I looked at gliders of all prices. This exceeded my expectations. Great buy for the money! Matched espresso furniture to a tee and the chocolate color is very pretty.
We just had our first baby so we wanted to buy a glider. We went to many stores to look for one. Although we had many options but the better ones were very expensive. Also we were looking for a dark color but most gliders come in light colors. Finally we came across walmart's website. We liked the color of this glider and the price was great too. It arrived in 5 days and took me 25 mins to put it together. The glider is very comfortable. My wife just goes to sleep whenever she sits in it. It rocks very smoothly without any noises as described by another customer. We love this chair and would recommend it highly.
this is a really nice glider. It was easy to put together. I was going to buy it from Babies R Us, but they didn't have this color. The wood is very nice and so is the padding.
The Shermag Stanton in a great addition to our house. I purchased this for a birthday gift for my husband who is a tall man. He fits into the chair nicely, although feels that the ottoman should be higher and the seat a little deeper. It is not our intent to use it as a baby rocker. It has a rich brown color and is a great value for the money. We got it un-assembled. It took me about two hours to put together. It comes with an Allen wrench, but does need a Phillips head screwdriver. The packaging was well constructed and all the pieces were in beautiful condition. The back, seat, ottoman and arm cushions are all substantial and have a thickness that feels like it will last. The glider mechanism works well without squeaks or rubbing, which I believe is an issue with some other brands. It looks like all those hours of researching and evaluating other reviews paid off with this Shermag Staton rocker glider.
I was so excited that this chair came so quickly after ordering it because the one I originally wanted was no longer available. But when we opened the box....it had a large crack on the back frame! They did not package the chair well enough to prevent damage but that is probably not Walmart's fault and most likely the manufacturers. It wasn't just a small crack, it was a crack that went all the way through the frame. I would not suggest this glider mostly because the packaging is not good enough to prevent damage.
we bought this chair and put it together then returned it the same day after sitting in it it makes noises like its going to come apart and its just not worth the money!!
