They also came pre-sharpened so I did not have to sharpen them before using them. They are perfect for everyday use or for your kids to take to school. Or you can use them at home for homework or other work that you need to do. They write perfectly and with ease. Great quality. I would recommend them for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are very high quality and probably amongst the best I've tried. I have a 1st grader that's is just learning to write sentences and he isn't always gentle with the lead. We were constantly resharpening the pencils when he'd push a little too hard. We do NOT have that problem with these. The lead is thicker and more durable than other brands I've tried. The eraser also is solid and stays intact once erasing a mistake made. One of my favorite things is that they come presharpened!! My son can just grab one out of the box that has been sharpened to the prefect amount and begin his work. You will not be disappointed in choosing these.

You can buy the pre sharpened box and send it directly to school with your kid or use them directly without spending time sharpening them. I've had to sharpen pencils before and it's quite time consuming. I love the quality of the markings these pencils make and how smoothly they glide across the paper. I'm a pencil lover and these rank very high on my scale. When you need to sharpen your pencil again it's so well made the sharpening is a smooth process and the graphite in the middle doesn't break off easily. It's super strong graphite without being too hard to write with. Sharpens to a very fine point, which is essential. I love the look and feel of these pencils in my hand. Classic yellow pencil that brings me back. I send them with my teenagers who really like them as well. They sharpen them all the way down and call them their “favorite pencils” because they sharpen to a very sharp point and they love that. Very nice to write with and even better for sketching.

I wanted to try these pencils because they come 12 in a box and they are all presharpend which is great for the Kids they don't have to sharpen the pencils themselves. They are well made and write great. They don't brake in half when Appling pressure to the pencils like other brands. The erasers work well and erase very easily. I also use them while doing crossword puzzles. You can use these pencils for school work, crossword puzzles or just to doodle with they are a well made pencil and I am really pleased with them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pencils are presharpened which is a huge plus! The lead is nice and bold when writing and the tip maintains its sharpness well. Other brands tend to wear down fairly quick. You don't need to bear down when writing. The lead coloring is fantastic. The biggest downfall is the eraser. The eraser does not work very well at all. You really have to put some work into erasing and the outline of whatever is written remains visible.
Tell Oriole their carpenter pencils suck. Cheap garbage. Make something like it used to be for once. Not cheap garbage. Rip-off. Should be ashamed putting out garbage. I'll never buy again.
