As a teacher, remember to have these pencils. I know #2 is used for computer scanned exams, but #3 pencils write longer without needing sharpening. In high school, five million years ago, I sharpened my #3 pencil just once a week. Jet had a price about 42% of what I paid before. They will last longer....so you save money. This is worth the extra money versus store brand pencils! There's nothing negative about these pencils, they last long, the lead doesn't break easily. We absolutely love them in our house!

I am an instructional aid and I'm constantly having to let my students barrow pencils and the quality of Ticonderoga is unmatched! No more repeatedly getting up to sharpen your pencil, no more having them break in the middle of writing a paper, and they last twice as long as the rest! Ticonderoga pencils are #1 and I will never waste my money buying any other kind!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always used #2 pencils however, i really like the #3 hard. It sharpens nice and gets to a very nice point with minimal effort. It doesn't smudge so it makes it easy when sketching and doesn't get all over the side of your hand. It blends nicely with different pressure applied.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these pencils a few weeks ago for my daughter to use in school.The pencil is made out of premium wood, is non toxic and the eraser is latex free.Which is good if you have allergies.I definitely like this brand and will continue to buy them for my daughters school work in the future

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got these pencils I am thrilled I to have gotten them. Best pencils to use. They are very nice quality graphite point pencils that offer smooth and easy writing. The only thing I didnt like was I ordered #3 instead of #2 so the writting is a bit on the lighter side. Other than that totally live this product.
I bought these because the description said they were soft lead no.1 pencils. These are more like #2 school grade pencils. Soft lead writes very dark, these pencils did not appear any darker then the #2 pencils I had in the house. I was very disappointed but will keep them for the kids' school supply needs next year. Other then the fact they are more of a #2 then a #1 lead, these are very nice pencils. They sharpened nicely without lead breaks up the shaft which is usually a problem for me so I must say, they are nicely made.
