I teach special education. These pencils have a grippier surface and fit comfortably in the student's hand. The triangular shape helps them to hold it better with less fatigue. Good for hands with poor grip pressure. Pair it with the 6 stages of Therapro's raised line paper. I usually get stage 3.
Perfect for the preschool and kindergarten age as they practice and perfect their writing.
I really like the shape of these pencils. It works well with my hands and helps makes my penmanship more legible. Be sure you have a pencil sharpener that will accommodate the unusual shape of the pencil. They provide one, however it may not sharpen to the point you like.
