The RAW protein powder definitely takes a bit of getting used to. There are no exotic flavors like banana cream or dreamsicle, but there are also no artificial ingredients either. The product is organic, vegan and gluten free. It has very low amounts of sodium and a comparable amount of protein per serving. I add a bit of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, water, kale, chia seeds and blueberries to it and it makes a great protein smoothie to start my day. It is definitely worth a try!
This product has been exactly what I needed. It's easy to mix; I never have to worry about clumps. The fact that it has no added sugar and it's gluten-free is a big plus. Also, it has a long shelf life, which is a relief. The sustainable packaging makes me feel good about my purchase, and the tasty chocolate flavor makes it a treat to drink. This product is good because it's organic, which is a big plus for me. The quality is simply outstanding and it's well worth the cost. The only drawback I've found is its availability, it can be hard to find in stores. Despite this, the benefits far outweigh this minor issue.
This mix does not have a chocolate taste or really any taste. It can best be described as an earthy, "clean-dirt" taste. The mix does not completely dissolve and there will be quite a lot of sediment that sinks to the bottom after a few minutes. You'll need to shake it right before drinking. I've come to like the neutral taste, not sweet or salty, and I especially like the sediment that doesn't mix because it attaches to the chia seeds I put in. The seeds are a perfect fit for this mix, in taste and function. This is my 2nd container (I tried the vanilla which is virtually the same). I only rated it a "good" because the mix should completely dissolve in a protein powder.
This is a wonderful clean product, that taste fine are far as protein powders go.. Butt this powder is impossible to mix without leaving grit or clumps... Still searching..
