I have used these for>5 years to help keep my vision as my Dad had Macular Degeneration! I am hoping it will help keep my eyes healthy esp since I have Diabetes!
I was told after i had a cataract remove that i should be taking Preservision for my eyes and that this softgels was easier than the old type that was 4 tablets a day i have been taking it for over 5 years
This vitamin supplement was recommended by my eye doctor. It helps with your overall eye health, behind the eyes. I know I am doing good to my eyesight.
Been using for five plus years for eye health
It seems to have stopped the macular degeneration so yay! Also this particular brand puts the dose in the soft gel that is only one in the morning and one at night - unlike some brands that require twice the dose.
I like that these have beta carotene - because I just don't eat enough Vitamin A and I know I'm lacking with the dry skin, and dry eyes I'm having. I notice that a lot of vitamin manufacturers are deleting Vitamin A in their products unfortunately - and I'm glad Bausch %26 Lomb still makes these for those of us who wish to take Vitamin A whether it be retinyl palmitate, acetate, or beta carotene just as long as it's not FISH cause I'm allergic to fish.
I was diagnosed with the start of Macular degeneration & the Opthamologist suggested this, it is not a cure (there is none) but it helps slow down the progress.
I ordered the item Aug 24, 2019. The item had a use by date of 05-2020. Less than a year before expiration. Also, the soft gels were hard and smelled. I contacted Bausch + Lomb and inquired about the condition of the item. They said the soft gels were probably not stored correctly. They could have been in a high temp/humidity location. This is why I do not like to buy any items with a use by date online. Very disappointed.
The vitamin is great and I have been taking it for about 30 years. Problem is that they sent the wrong type of Preservision and the size was 60 caplets not the 120 I ordered. Still waiting to hear from them about this
