I started using Borage Oil a year ago and can see a lot of difference in my skin and hair. My skin looks younger and my hair is getting thicker and growing more. I will never stop taking it.
It helps you naturally lose weight by weight to have working the fat cells in your body, my mother is diebetic and she lost enough weight to have surgery.
I tried this brand of Borage Oil, after hearing Dr. Oz recommends it for hair growth and shine. I took one a day for several months, and I was amazed at how much it helped my hair to grow out and be healthy and manageable. It helped my nails become longer, stronger, thicker and healthier too. I was shocked that my local Walmart has reset their vitamin Planogram, and the Borage Oil wasn't included! So now I have to order it online, or see if my Walmart can do Site-to-Store on it. (Which, quite frankly, is a pain in the butt for me to have to do. VERY inconvenient.) I'm glad that they at least do still carry it online, but I wish my local Walmart would begin stocking it again.
Having liver problems I could not take fish oil. After talking to the pharmacist she said that Borage Oil is same thing without the fish oil. I have tried and like the product. Wish it was carried in all our local Walmart stores. I do order thru the mail but would like to pick up the item when I am doing my shopping.
I would recommend this product to anyone in need of better health and more energy!

I had been getting this product at my local store when they quit ordering it. I was happy to find it online. It came packaged strangely but all arrived in good shape.
I saw a segment on Dr. Oz to use borage oil as a natural anti-aging moisturizer. I am in my sixties and have very dry skin. Every morning I open a softgel and apply the oil directly to my face and the back of my hands. Surprisingly, it is a great moisturizer and keeps my skin soft all day. (This segment is still on video on Dr. Oz's website, if you want to see it.) Walmart is the best and most reasonable store to get these softgels.
The item arrived the next day and was reasonably priced. After several weeks of using twice daily, no noticeable improvements to my skin. However, no side effects noted.
Apparently I do not need extra omega 6 in my body. I have taken this for 2 months and have endured side effects that include very irritable bowel, gas and bloating. It did not improve hair skin or nails. It did not eliminate PMS symptoms. I am still experiencing nasty side effects 2 days after discontinuing the product. I had even tried reducing intake from 2 a day to one every other day. Hopefully I get back to normal soon. I simply tried it because it was a woman's supplement .
