I've used this brand of Neti pot for about 7 years and I loved it so much I bought a bunch for family and friends. I still remember using this for the very first time and a whole bunch of gunk that had been in my sinus for years all got flushed out. I use a 1/4 teaspoon plain salt, 1/4 teaspoon xylitol, 3 drops GSE formula that I found on the internet. The xylitol and the GSE are anti-microbial and the salt makes sure that it doesn't sting. I won't give any medical advice here but you can read up about it on the internet anywhere. I like this pot because it's smooth and easy to use and clean, just rinse it. It has no nooks and crannies where stuff gets stuck.
Love the fact that this is lightweight and easier for me to handle. The ceramic ones were too heavy.
For years I used a cup with diluted salt for nasal cleanising. It was a messy process! I order all my vitamins from Swansons and noticed they also had Neti Pots, so I ordered it. It certainly simplified my morning routine and best of all NO MESS. Very pleased with the product, buy it!
I suffer from severe allergies.. all the medications and nose sprays have side effects and even give me sores. the neti pot might not be as easy as 'popping a pill',,, but it works without toxic chemicals!
I love the plastic because it will not break. Works like a regular one! Love it.
Poor quality product. Seams right through the place it is supposed to seal against your nose. the one I got also had a sharp cut near the seam where it needed to seal against the nose. Very uncomfortable to use.
