The Sorting & Patterning Pocket Chart is a wonderful tool in many different ways to teach shapes, colors, living/non-living, things that move/ non-movement items, etc. to my 3 & 4 year old preschool class. They really enjoy putting the cards into the pocket slots.
Love the pockets for storage! The pieces are well made and big enough for small hands to use. Easy to hang. Love that I can teach the kids in groups!
The pictures that come with this pocket chart were enjoyed by my class. We used the chart to practice sorting by colors. We completed a sorting by colors activity during circle time, and everyone was able to take a turn because there were enough pieces for each student. My only suggestion for improvement would be to expand the color choices.
