The crayons I remember growing up. Awesome little box. There are 3 boxes inside and you can use the box you want as you color. So it's not the crayon box you would open and you see all the crayons I remember a child. Oh, and it comes with a crayon sharpener. My grandson loves the individual packaging. Awesome deal as well!
Crayola is always the way to go. Never disappoints. It even came with an external sharpener.
THEY COLOR SO NICELY. BETTER THAN ALL THE REST
These are the best crayons out there for a reason. This set has every color you could want %26 then some. Plus it comes in a heavy duty box with a cute sharpener! What a deal! Great for kids %26 adults who like to color as well. My only problem with this set is that it's hard to organize them but I figured it out %26 made it work.
I'm an adult who just started drawing. It suits my style of drawing. I think of Crayola as 'colored wax' - translucency which I like. This 120 count can give you gradation of colors. Makes me smile to see all the colors. Good product because Crayola is non-toxic. Especially good for me who has chemical sensitivity. I still can enjoy drawing.
The colors are fine. The design of the packaging is a problem. You can non easily stand the boxes up so you can access all the colors. I think the standup boxes are more usable for a child. They have to take one box out to get to the one underneath.
Crayola crayons, so quality is good. what's disappointing is you still need to buy the box of skin tone Colors Of The World crayons for coloring people. i would think that for the price they could have put at least some of those colors and taken away some of the bright ones that are too similar to those of the same shades.
The price was good, but I wish the colors were packaged according to color families instead of all over the place.
Crayola used to have boxes to keep the crayons safe INSIDE the big box.... This version has the white inserts of the previous boxes, but not the outer cardboard boxes. Thus, the crayons are not tight (or even slightly tight) inside the box... they bang back and forth leaving marks on the white inner lining of the box... and some of my Crayon tips were broken. They could fix this by making the outer box smaller.... or going back to the way they had them before so that the kids can pick up the inner box, set it on the table, and pull out crayons. This way, not only are the crayons moving about inside.... but children cannot set the boxes up on the table in order to easily grab the crayon they want. (Or even see them....) Crayola is still the ONLY crayon I will ever purchase. Their quality is far superior to any other basic art supply.... and I STILL enjoy the smell at my advanced age!!! :) Oh, and the bonus crayon sharpener is adorable and a great size!!! I don't know how well it works, as it is a gift and I won't be there to see it used, but it sure is cute!
As a kid in the 80's I remember thr colors coloring so smooth and clean, now they leave a wax, and you have to press hard/ go over the coloring a few times, to get somewhat of a dark color. It seems the brand has also gotten cheap on how they make their crayons, just like other companies.
