ne thing we can NEVER have too much of is Packing Tape! I was sent Duck HP260 Packaging Tape and it is by far the best packaging tape we own. You know the saying, you get what you pay for? It?s true. When I buy the cheapest tape, it never works right. It splits, you can?t find the end and the cutter is too dull.
This clear packaging tape is wonderful and strong as you would expect from the Duck brand.Right on the packaging it says it is "whisper quiet". Well, I put that to the test. I tried using it while my husband was asleep near by. Usually, when you pull out the tape it makes a sort of ripping sound. Well, I am here to tell you, when I tried it out, It didn't! Not one peep from the tape and not a peep from my sleeping husband either. Again, great stuff!
I have been in the packing and moving business for 3.5 years, and learned the hard way that there is a HUGE difference between packing tapes. I will never use any other tape than Duck brand HP260 for my jobs - it sticks to cardboard boxes better than any other name brand tape I've used.
I have a tube bending and manufacturing company and we have been in business for 80 years. I am sure I have tried all the brands over the years. Now I have no need to look for a stronger tape that does not brake, sticks like should, and keeps my products safe in transit. I FOUND THE BEST.
Let's me honest, everyone loves Duck Tape brand. I am so glad they finally make shipping tape like this. I sell a lot of things on Buy Sell Trade facebook groups and eBay so I send our small packages from my home a few times a month at least. I think this tape unrolled the easiest of any shipping tape I have ever tried. Very little effort and unrolled nicely so it worked great to attached my Paypal labels onto the package without messing up the tracking information. The sharp edge is sharp, but not too sharp that I get accidentally cut when I use it.

This packaging tape is both high performance and whisper quiet. This tape is strong, designed to meet your heavy duty box shipping and long-term storage needs. It is also resistant to ultraviolet rays, which eliminates yellowing and increases shelf life. Another great thing about this packaging tape is the whisper quiet feature. I can't exactly describe the sound that packing tape makes when it unwinds but I'm sure it's one you've heard before. However, this packaging tape unwinds effortlessly and quietly. I'm not entirely sure how this is possible because it would have to be made differently but if it is I can't tell it. It looks the same and does the same great job, only more quieter. The Duck brand has been a name my family and I have trusted for years and this high performance packing tape lives up to those expectations.
Normally don't buy this brand of packaging tape but was all they had at store I was in recently. Ended up working very well and will most likely continue buying this brand as it is less expensive than some of the others I found out during a shopping trip the other day! I will definitely recommend. The one complaint would be the ease of use with the dispenser, sometimes much easier to just tear tape off.
Ok, this tape made me feel..confused. I'm thinking maybe I just got a goof roll either that or I have no idea how to use this brand's rolling and cutting mechanism. Yes I'm used packing tape rolls before which is why it baffled me so. The sticky side seemed to be facing the wrong way, so the stick side was actually facing the cutting edge. I couldn't roll it and push my wrist forward to cut it like other rolls I've used. I ended up having to pull it out like scotch tape and cut it with scissors. I feel like I'm missing something.
Purchased this for a move, hoping to save some money over buying one of the bigger, bulkier tape dispensers. The tape is quality; standard Duck. The dispenser is abominable. The tape roll didn't want to turn properly, kept wanting to pop out of place, and the blade simply fell off the front after the first five or ten boxes. Do yourself a favor and get some nice Duck on a roll and do NOT give yourself a headache over this poor excuse for a dispenser...
