This thermometer is great! So easy to use. The tip of it is soft & bendy. Much more comfortable to use than any other thermometer I have tried. It has 3 modes to choose where you want to measure the temperature whether in mouth, under arm or from down.Gets a reading pretty quickly
I have a 4 year old and 1.5 month old. My 4 year old goes to school so she gets sick often, unfortunately. A thermometer is very necessary to have on hand when you have kids. I use it under the tongue for my 4 year old and myself if I'm feeling sick, and under the arm for my younger one. It's fast, it's accurate and it's very easy to clean. The instructions are really simple. It turns off automatically after 60 seconds, if you forget to turn it off. If it ever needs the battery replaced, it's a cr2032, which is very easy to find at the store. I like that this comes with a cover so that the tip isn't just touching everything when it's not in use. It came with some disposable covers, but no where in the instructions does it say what they are for, but I'm assuming it's for if multiple people use it. Definitely recommend!
This is an excellent thermometer. So easy to use and many ways to use it. It is for toddlers, babies and adults. It has many features such as the large backlit display so you can see the numbers really good. It has a flexible tip and fever alert which I love.
So first thing I did was look through the modes. At the top of the thermometer there's a picture of a kid with it's legs drawn up. And there's little triangles that are used as arrows. And you hit the mode button and the triangle moves around the kid to the mouth, arm pits, and bottom. Of course with everyone being 4 and over in our house we just use the mouth setting. And it does literally read in 2 seconds. And a spot on reading. It has a clear cover on it. And it well covers just about the whole thermometer. So it's very protected after use.
I love that this can fit in a diaper bag slot easily, or even the n my own purse/clutch! No set up necessary, and works like a gem! True to its promise to calculate temperate reading in 2 seconds!! You can't go wrong with anything made by them- in my opinion! Most all of our baby needs are by then, and we love all of it!
With little ones having a thermometer on hand is a must. The Equate 2-Second Digital Thermometer from Walmart has been an amazing find. I like to keep a thermometer in my purse or diaper bag at all times, during flu season, and anytime really especially with the way things have been these last couple of years. My favorite feature is a tie between the flexible tip and two second reading feature. I've always been a huge fan of Walmart's Equate brand, I can get the same quality for less, who doesn't love that? And this 2-Second Digital Thermometer is definitely no different. Just get it! You won't regret this purchase.
This is a great product this thermometer is great it works great it is made really well it comes with easy to read instructions it is easy to use it has clear digital display and it only takes 2 seconds to take your temperature the numbers are easy to read and the temperature is accurate it has an easy to push on and off button you just turn it on and put it under your tongue and it takes your temperature it's easy to clean and it has a clear cover to go over it to j Keep it clean and safe it's a wonderful product and would definitely recommend
The equate 2 second thermometer is reliable and actually gives a reading in two seconds. This is important for when you have a three year old who won't keep it under their tongue for longer than that! We have a forehead monitor too, got it during covid but it's not as reliable and gives a different reading each scan. The equate two second thermometer is accurate, and gives the same reading each time. Under the tongue is much more accurate than a forehead scan, although more invasive. It's a nice little thermometer to have on hand. You can also pick which area you'd like to take your temp from on the backlit screen. Underarm, mouth or rectal.
Reading instructions are a must! This is not you average thermometer. After reading instructions a few times and after some mistakes on my part the 2 second thermometer worked very well. Now you must realize that the actual temp check under the tongue or where you decide does take 2 seconds however turning it in and waiting for it to set itself up takes a bit longer and that's when I got frustrated. Now knowing how to use it properly its a piece of cake! I used your old thermometer and compared temps and they were in .2degs of each other and that's close enough for it home temps. I really like that it came with protective sleeves for the temp probe area to limit possible cross contamination.

So the promise of a 2 second rapid read is awesome. Other than the thermometer and direction sheet in the box, you get 5 covers to get you started. This Equate thermometer features a large dual colored back lit display, a flexible tip, recalls the last reading and you can use it oral, rectal, or underarm. The box states to use: press the power button, wait 2 seconds, choose the location by mode button, place the tip in that location, wait for a long beep, then read temperature. Just wait 1 minute in between consecutive measurements. But after only using it for 3 days when I was sick, instead of waiting two seconds before choosing the location, I now have to wait 10 seconds and now I can’t take consecutive readings after 1 minute without shutting it off and restarting. The only good thing is the Equate Satisfaction Guarantee for replacement or refund, so keep your receipt! I hope this was just a bad egg per say, because I liked it otherwise.
