My oldest child has had constipation issues since about 10 months old and after 3 years I found this probiotic she takes it everyday and finally got her off mirlax and now she is going to the bathroom regularly !!!! I LOVE this product!!!! Highly recommend!
I have been buying this product for several years now. My kids love it, and I do too. But I can't find it anywhere. When will it be in stock again? It is already April 2022.
I am back and happy to say that I have seen a positive result in giving these probiotics to my children. My youngest who gave me a hard time actually prefer to have this as a straight scoop from the bottle followed by a glass of water. I took the time to taste it for myself and it has a pleasant taste of strawberry-banana. No after taste. I plan on reordering more once it becomes available.
We've tried a few kid's probiotics and this seems to really build my child's immune system. It is a powder form, so we give it to him with a spoonful of applesauce. And he likes to take it! To enhance the immune building power, we also give him a New Chapter's Reishi Mushroom (also with applesauce). This is a great combination for building the immunity.
My kids took these to make their tummies right after having antibiotics. I can't tell if they helped or not but I feel like they did. They smell awful but my kids drank them in smoothies no big deal! Definitely like powder more then chewable
This RAW Organic Probiotic for Kids is a great way for my kids to get the enzymes, greens and probiotics they need in a powder. I can sprinkle it into anything that they're eating (liquid or solid) and it mixes easily. It's tasteless and odorless. I keep mine in the fridge since it contains probiotics. I recommend this product.
My doctor had been recommending yogurt every time my child was ill, but my LO is a good eater and yogurt was already part of our daily foods. I finally asked if I should consider a probiotic, and he said it wouldn't hurt. After doing some research I settled on this one, even though I would have liked to see a bit of a bigger variety in bacteria types, none of the other children's products seemed to really fit exactly what I was looking for but this one came the closest. Several weeks on the probiotic & no illnesses, which may be a coincidence but time shall tell! What I can say for sure is that it appears to be a high quality product with natural, whole-food ingredients, and my child apparently likes the taste, or at least can't detect it, because he hasn't even seemed to notice it in his milk at all. I only gave it a 4/5 based on the number of varying bacteria strains, not based on long term usage, which I can't yet comment on since it's only been 2 weeks.
Love this brand and product, and Swanson sells it cheaper than anywhere else. I use it for my 10-month-old daughter. I haven't noticed much difference, but I do feel good giving her such a high quality probiotic supplement.
Im giving it 4 stars because I thought that this was a chewable tablet but unfortunately its powder form. It makes it harder for me to give it to my youngest son, He says that it makes his water taste different but i make him drink it anyway. This product is clearly labled that it should be stored cold before being opened and it should be shipped cold, remain 70°. It was not shipped cold to me and who knows how the vendor iherb stores this product. This is even noted on the manufacture website, and the manufacturer doesnât even ship cold probiotics.... I returned this product the next day to my local walmart and luckily I found the same product at a local health food store for a similar price. Even if it cost more, itâs worth it to me to have the potency expected by the product manufacturer and myself.
