I bought this after watching a Dr. Oz show where a small flexible ball was used to treat pain in the hands and feet. Anyway I found this one at Walmart and it is wonderful on my sore feet (I have a bad case of plantar fascitis & a heel bone spur). Tennis balls and water bottles were too hard that my doctor suggested and caused more pain, but this squishy thing does a wonderful massage and I can roll it around under my feet while reading, watching TV, or using the computer. It is also great for my arthritic hands. I dont understand the odd photo.. it is just a round ball.
Bought this for ordinary use. Left it sitting on a wood end table and whatever is inside the ball leaches thru the plastic (there was no hole or crack or seam down - it came THROUGH the plastic.) Whatever it leaked pooled in a gel under the ball and ATE THRU THE TABLE'S FINISH! I have no idea what it is, but glad it didn't get on my skin. I also purchased a similar item that was shaped like a bone - two rounded ends with a narrower middle - with a "knobby" texture for muscle massage. This one was left on the table too, and the inside material leached through each of the little knobs and again ate thru the table's finish in a polka-dot pattern that matched the knobs - again, no cracks, leaks or seams. Gross stuff.
