I love these pens! Sakura has been my favorite brand since the Gelly Roll! I have had no issues whatsoever with these. It does work best on coated papers, like photo paper and vellum. I noticed only minimal 3D effect on cardstock and plain paper, but it clearly states their recommendations on the packaging. All in all, they are awesome and I am definitely a happy camper!
Sakura (Japanese pen co.) makes wonderful pens for artistic creations and these are some of my favorites! Normally, I've seen these cost $15-$20, but WalMart has them for under $10!!!!!
Not my favorite Sakura but still nice. They puff up when dried which gives dimensions to your project. Colors are beautiful. Comfortable in my hand. All the pens work and arrived in great condition. Good price. I'd probably buy them again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
When using them, these pens are really smooth and glide along the paper easily. It's worth noting that when you use them, the ink takes a little bit to dry and also appears a lighter hue when dried. #sweepstakes
These pens add a new dimension to my doodling! Flat color but a higher feeling to the paint. It doesnt puff up but it's a bit raised.
Fantastic product! Expensive but worth it. I purchased through website as it was more convenient than searching for the item in a brick and mortar store. Thus, I was willing to pay the extra for convenience.
Perfect and fast shipping
I gave this pen 3 stars because it writes smoothly and generously. The ink is NOT Puffy. It is NOT Even poofy. It is more like phfffft... The ink comes out like good ole ink. It Does come out completely Matte, so that, if you drew ink all over the page, you could write on it, sort of like a chalk board... Puffy? Maybe I got a defective set, but this set fell flat.
I was very disappointed in this product. I can not tell the difference between the ink from these pens and a regular color marker/pen. It just looks like a regular color pen/marker when dried.
