Construction fills solid / well built. probably would use indoor conditions only
I was having a raffle at work. I wanted something to really authenticate it. The drum did just that. I placed tape over the 'slit' as other reviews stated the tickets would come out. It arrived dented, but I still didn't want to part ways with it. I think it's a little pricey, but I just may have to use it more often.
I like the raffle drum because it is used for door prizes at my church. It add class to the events instead of using a bag to draw from.
I was very concerned after reading reviews of this raffle drum. However, it served our purpose great! It didn't have sharp edges. The door was stiff (not a negative to me) but secure. The slot seems to end up on the bottom of the wheel and a ticket did get while turning the drum. We are a small school that holds 2 raffles a year. It was a great value for our purpose.
Is attractive and works well.
I liked the richness it brings, whether its a health fair, bingo or hosting a live art show it is always a hit because of the drums elegance That brings on conversation on where did I get it or leave it to GiGi to be the first to have a meaningful piece to make the gatherings take on a new meaning. Very sturdy. And holds a lot of tickets.
It is a nice item, lightweight, and like the other reviews, there is a problem with the tickets falling out the slot, but we just tape a piece of paper over the slot and put the tickets in thru the door.
It looks like the picture, but the overall design is extremely poor. There is no lock to hold the drum in place, so the slot to drop the tickets in slinks down and must be manually moved. Also, the ticket slot is way too big and regular size raffle tickets just kept falling out. For the money, this is very disappointing.
I turn the lever, and the barrel does not turn.
For what I thought was a lot to pay, the drum seems cheaply made. Not sure that the clasp is going to last and if you don't close it correctly it drops open and all your tickets fall out. Wish I had looked around for a better product.
