I am so glad that I purchased this paper cutter. Occasionally, I like to make my own greeting cards. And, I made Valentine's Day cards for my son's preschool class. This paper cutter has met every expectation that I had. The cutter is really sharp and cuts neatly. The whole thing is light and easy to carry with the handle. Really, it was exactly what I was looking for in a home, occasional use, paper cutter. The price was very reasonable considering that the ones I was used to using in the workplace can be $75 or more. Yes, they are more industrial (can handle multiple pages at once and are really heavy duty), but for my home use purposes, this one is great.
Yes, it looks and feels relatively cheap, especially when you consider it so light. Having said that, I love this thing, It cuts sharp where and when I want it to, much better than my metal straight edge and razor blade.
This is not one of the industrial paper cutters that I am used to from work, but I needed one for home. It does a GREAT job for the price paid! I've used much worse paper cutters that cost nearly the same. If you're looking for something to get the job done nicely, this is it. I anticipate it will last for quite a while.
I bought this to cut card stock. Cuts good and even. I had a slight problem when cutting a tad off but when I turned the paper over so it was closer to the top of the blade it cut smoothly.
Meets my expectations and does what I need it to do, just wish it was heavier...but it does exactly what I need it for and is a good buy for the money spent. I'm satisfied
Works great unless you have to "recut" a small edge off of a single page, then the blade doesn't seem to grasp the paper. Other than that I like this cutter.
