These scissors are nice and sharp, and such a fun color (I got the purple). The grip is nice and comfortable and they are a good weight. Perfect for crafting, as they can cut right through ribbon without fraying it.
I must admit i can never have enough scissors. Always enjoy working with fiskars as a seamstress. They work well with any fabric or paper. I cant count how many pair i own of these. I absolutely love these scissors and brand.
Fiskars Graduate Scissors are perfect for teens, college students and teachers. They are larger and better for bigger hands. They are also nice and sharp for effective cutting, yet safe. The handle is really comfortable and they feel good while cutting. I also love the color!
Great quality! Definitely good size for older kids/teens. I have small hand for an adult woman and they are a little tight against my fingers in the grip, but a teen or preteen would be just fine. My daughter is 8 and though they are a tiny bit large, she had no problem using them. Very sharp, makes nice clean cuts, great for crafts and feels very durable. Highly recommend.
I've used Fiskars scissors my whole life but have never tried the Graduate series. I have small hands, so all 4 fingers fit in the grip which I like. My husband tried them out, and he said they were comfortable for him using 3 fingers. Because I use scissors a lot with thick papers and fabric, I tried them out on a scrap of upholstery. They made a nice clean cut. Perfect all around scissors for me!
Fiskars are the best scissors. I used these often for my crafting. I've cardboard, cut leather with absolutely no problem. Effortless. My sister is left handed and she even commented on how comfortable they were to use. I didn't realize scissors could be uncomfortable based on which hand held them. These are definitely my go to scissors.
One of the hardest things when getting new scissors is getting the package open. These opened with no issues and no need for another pair of scissors. The scissors themselves fit nicely in my hand. They aren't too rough and don't cause pain when using. They cut GREAT! I tested them on the packaging they came in as it's a thicker material and it had no issues at all. Definitely would purchase again!
I got these Fiskars Graduate Scissors last week, and both me and my son have been using them ever since. I received them in purple, which is great because I tend to lay them down and not be able to find them, but these stand out. They cut very smoothly and they're very sharp. The ergonomic handle helps with comfort and control even for my 7year old. The package also states that they have a full lifetime warranty, which is always great!
I havent had these scissors in my possession for long, but I did use them yesterday for a project that I had been working on and these scissors actually work really nicely as crafting scissors. I was using the scissors to cut through mostly felt material, and I noticed how smoothly it went through the fabric compared to other brands of scissors that I have tried in the past. I was able to cut with ease, without the scissors getting "stuck", and having to start over again. The scissors grip is nice and comfortable as well. Working on my project for an hour my fingers didn't get cramped once, unlike using my old pair of scissors. Maybe it is just because these are new, but I will continue to use them and hopefully they take longer to become dull than my last pair. I recommend these scissors for any light fabric projects that you plan on doing or art projects for kids, teens, and adults!
I wouldn't buy these again. They're cutting fine for now but they're very cheaply made. I can tell they're not going to last very long. The plastic seems cheaply made and weak. If the handles don't break, the rivet will.
