I have always been hesitant to try a smoking aid because I never thought they would work. After trying the Nicorette White Ice Gum I am now a believer! The flavor was great and the amount of nicotine in the gum was just enough to help my craving for a cigarette. Thank to Nicorette, I am on my way to becoming a non-smoker! I went right to the 2mg product and wanted to see if this would help me stop smoking. I had been smoking for over 25 years and have tried everything to no avail. Well, the gum works. When you have an urge or craving, one piece takes that craving away. I liked the original flavor because it doesn't ruin the taste of my coffee in the morning. I highly recommend trying this product.
I have recently quit smoking. I still regularly chew Nicorette to aid in cravings. Regular mint Nicorette loses it's flavor after about 5 minutes. I was thoroughly impressed with White Ice! It is still minty even 15 minutes later! Not to mention, it takes my cravings away quickly and easily! I will definitely be repurchasing and have recommended it to my friends! I've tried several of the nicotine replacement gums, and the Fruit Chill 4mg is by far the best tasting. As a matter of fact, I've never had any gum of any kind that tastes as good as this stuff! Nicorette 4mg Fruit Chill coupled with a strong desire to quit has really worked well for me!
I love the flavor and overall tasting. The gum is great at controlling craving on cigarette (nicotine) especially during the time I can't smoke and need to focus at work. I was smoking 2 packs a day. The gum helped me quit, but now I've been chewing over 20 pieces a day since November 4, 1988. Make sure you remember to quit the gum.
I tried Nicorette gum a few years ago, but not necessarily to quit smoking. I was trying it out more for craving control while "cutting back". I bought both the fruit flavor and the mint flavor, but was turned off by the taste and the weird burning feeling it left in my throat. I'm happy I decided to give the gum a second chance and try the Nicorette White Ice Mint recently! The flavor and texture seem much improved from my previous experiences and the flavor lasted for a long time. I also actually read the instructions this go around and learned to chew for a few seconds and then park the gum between my cheek and gums, and repeat this multiple times in different areas of my mouth. Doing that helped me not feel like I needed to cough or vomit from the tingly/burning sensation since it keeps those symptoms at a minimum. I still notice that unpleasant feeling, but it's definitely not as bad. Overall, I have felt this gum has reduced my cravings and cut the number of cigarettes I smoke daily by half, but I haven't completely kicked the habit yet. Maybe after a few more boxes of Nicorette.
