Stop smoking completely when you begin using the patch. If you smoke more than 10 cigarettes per day, use the following schedule. Weeks 1 to 4, step one, use one 21 mg patch/day. Weeks 5 and 6, step 2, use one 14 mg patch/day. Weeks 7 and 8, step 3, use one 7 mg patch/day if you smoke 10 or less cigarettes per day, start with step 2 for 6 weeks, then step 3 for 2 weeks and then stop. Apply one new patch every 24 hours on skin that is dry, clean, and hairless. Remove backing from patch and immediately press onto skin. Hold for 10 seconds. Wash hands after applying or removing patch. Save pouch to use for patch disposal. Dispose of used patch by folding sticky ends together and putting in pouch. The used patch should be removed and a new one applied to a different skin site at the same time each day. If you have vivid dreams, you may remove the patch at bedtime and apply a new one in the morning. Do not wear more than one patch at a time. Do not cut patch in half or into smaller pieces. I stopped smoking September 2015 and took up chewing tobacco as an alternative tobacco. My intent was to quit that once I had kicked the craving to smoke. That took until May 2016. Aug 2016 I started using these patches and they are great. I started with the 21 mg patch. The first few days I could tell my body was having less nicotine, but it was very manageable, and I never had the "angry's". After the few days it was like I never had a habit. I wore that patch for a week before stepping down to the 14 mg. Again I could tell I was getting less nicotine but that lasted for about three days. Then I stepped down to 7 mg, easy-peazy. Next weekend I go bareback so to speak.... no more patches and I am looking forward to it. I've had no problems with them sticking, I put them on my rib cage.
I've used smoke patches off and on for years. They are easy to use, generally need scissors to cut open the foil package. Peel off the backing and press onto your skin. I usually put them on my groin so I can keep track of them. My skin Does turn a bit red and itchy but it's worth the discomfort. I can wear one for 2-3 days and still feel the effects....basically if you are mentally set on going without tobacco for whatever reason, these DO work!

The nurse at the hospital I was in gave me a patch like this every day and it helped to curb my cravings for a cigarette tremendously. Now that I'm ready to quit smoking for good I turned to these remembering that hospital visit. I've used every other method out there and these actually help. I'm praying they will be the trick to help me to being smoke free! Walmart's price helps me afford this where the name brands are out of reach for the time needed to go thru the whole process. For some odd reason every time I try to put a patch on it does not stay on the ends are always peeling up I have wash with soap and water made sure I was drive while I was putting the patch and it keeps coming off
Due to the pic I saw online it showed 1,2n 3 step but when I received my package I got all 1 step,not happy @ all
I absolutely hate these. One I can't keep them on for more than an hour and two, I have red, itchy, rectangle patches where every one of them was placed. At first, it was just an annoyance. Now, the three places where the patches were are almost painful they are so irritated. And I don't have sensitive skin. It is highly unusual for a product to cause me any isses.
