Optimize your quit day with the Equate Nicotine Transdermal System Step 1 Clear Patches. Begin by affixing a single, new patch to a dry, hairless, and clean area of skin. Each slim, translucent patch is engineered to steadily dispense 21 milligrams of nicotine over a span of 16 to 24 hours. If you smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day, use the step one patches, but if your consumption is less than 10 cigarettes, step two patches are recommended. This kit contains 14 patches, providing a two-week supply. The nicotine patch, a small, thin square, releases nicotine into your body via your skin. Unlike the abrupt nicotine spikes from cigarettes, the nicotine patch maintains a fairly consistent nicotine level throughout the 16 or 24-hour duration it is worn, helping to minimize potential nicotine cravings. Make progress in overcoming your nicotine dependence with the Equate Nicotine Transdermal System Step 1 Clear Patches. Making the right health decisions can be challenging. With a complete range of products and simple solutions, Equate allows you to take care of your family with confidence.

I was worried this product would not work - but I have been smoke free since Oct 21st! I just started step2 last week and so far so good. My only annoyance is that the glue sticks on you even after you remove the patch and is a pain to get it off - but overall wonderful patch!
I've just started the program so far I've not smoked and I believe this program will work. While in the hospital they gave me step 2 I am using step 1 and gonna use all 3 . I haven't smoked since May 6 2014. Only ordered these so I would not start back smoking. Be sure to check with your Doctor before using them.
I quit smoking five years ago using this product, and I have now purchased it for my husband. He is finishing up his third box of the step 1 and is getting ready to begin step 2. He has not had a cigarette in six weeks and only rarely has an urge for a cigarette. THANK YOU EQUATE!
I tried pills and gum nothing has worked... I started these and have been smoke free for a little over a month now... I had cravings but they were very small not enough to make you go to the store and by a pack...
With the price as low as these patches are, there's no excuse to smoke, anyone thinking of quitting should use them (if they aren't allergic to trans dermal patches and the adhesive that is) 4 weeks worth of patches for 50 bucks, I would have spent 150 in cigarettes for keeping my habit... So 100 saved there... They don't work well for those strong cravings, but I would recommend an e-cigarette in tandem with these for those horrible/stressful situations where you "just need one smoke". I quit once when my daughter was born... Was back smoking within a year when everything was very stressful, then when she had pneumonia... I lasted 9 months smoke free, then had another puff of a real smoke and kept on going... As horrible as that sounds... I actually did this... And now finally with the birth of my son, and added pressure from my baby girl saying I want you to live daddy... I had to try and keep trying... Its so far has been working... And the patches helped me stay 1 year smoke free before and 9 months another time... The only difference is this time... If I ever would want to falter... I won't let it affect my family... I would seriously recommend having your back-up be something readily available because cigarettes are closer and most times easier to get than some of the nicotine replacement items out there... Stay strong.
i have smoked since i turned 18 and i am 49 now and i wanted to stop smoking because i would cough for five min. every time i would light up so i went to doc and he said to try the patch and after 1 week i felt like i did not need it any more because i was not having any withdrawal systems but my husband who also stopped with me who has smoked since he was 14 and is now 50 said to keep doing the full treatment to make sure it sticks. So as of 1/15/2017 we have been smoke free and the first stage is 6 weeks then 2 weeks with stage 2 and then 2 weeks with stage 3 then done YEA
Works. I alternate between shoulder blades and upper arm for patch. Rash doesnt appear as bad there, allergic to adhesives. I also put athletic tape over to make sure it stays put.
These work fine as far as supplementing the nicotine, but the adhesive is not nearly as good as name brand nicotine patches. The patches tend to lift with the slightest movement. I went through 7 patches in the first 3 days until I bought some medical tape to help keep them on.
First of all, maybe I just didn't want to quit badly enough. I don't know. I've been smoking for 45 years and 2 packs a day the past 10 years. The first few hours with the patch on seemed easy as long as I held onto an unlit cigarette. I even tried using an e-cigarette without the nicotine in it, but that was useless. But it seemed as soon as something upset me, I'd take it off and needed a real cigarette badly. Also, they don't stick well at all. The first one stuck for about 8 hrs. and fell off. The 2nd one wouldn't stick at all from the get-go. The third one stuck for a few hours, but didn't seem to be helping my craving for a cigarette. I'm going to give Chantix a try and see if that's better. At least I can smoke for a bit until it kicks in. I just need to really want to quit badly enough. I will hang onto these and try again if the Chantix doesn't work, I guess. I need to save the money I'm spending on cigarettes.
Not a good purchase they are older they don't work the box came all ripped the patches were all bent up not happy bed purchase and I use this brand all the time I buy it from the store it's usually good the purchase online was not thank you
