Love the product I just used it once and every single lice and nit + the eggs wher gone I love it
Had to buy 2 kits. Didn't seem to kill all of them in one try.
Bought equate brand lice killing shampoo and put on my daughters head as directed but left it on hair for an extra 5 minutes then it called for. After rinsing out, I combed her hair with a very fine comb and filled a bowl with water, as I combed her hair I would dip comb into water, then continue combing, not some but All the lice bugs were still alive crawling in the water and all in the comb, until there were like 30 live bugs in bowl, I had to go to the store to buy name brand Nix live shampoo 8 hours later I shampoos her head again but the Nix killed all of the live bugs! Do not ever buy generic lice shampoo, my personal opinion is Nix is best followed by RID , and then generic or equate, Nix is expensive but necessary.
Use product as directed and consumed 3/4 of shampoo as instructed. As I was combing through I could still see live life moving through. Don't waste your money buying this product, it doesn't work.
The lice killing shampoo didn't kill the lice on 3 kids' heads. The comb that comes with 1 of the kits was broken when we opened the box. The other 2 broke within minutes. We ended up trying twice before buying name brand kits that come with metal combs. This has caused big issues with the school.
The instructions are easy enough to follow, the process is fairly painless. However, for the price you pay the product should work better and the comb should be more durable. Before I'd finished combing the first section of the hair two teeth from the comb had broken off. By the time I finished the second section another had came off and the comb was bending. I made myself finish the combing and there was a great gap by the time I was done on the comb. I much prefer the metal combs. This was cheap and thin plastic. I would not recommend this product.
This product is no good. The comb is cheap and hurt my daughters hair. The shampoo was very watery. I then went and bought the licefreee brand even though it was more expensive it worked with one treatment and the mental comb was great.
Still had live bugs after treatment and should have only had nits
I bought 2 boxes of this product right off the bat to treat my husband and daughter. During the second step process (removing eggs) I found over 20 live lice on my daughter. Her hair is very long and very thick so I just figured that was the problem but my husband has very short hair and the day after his removal he decided to shave his head and they're were TONS of live bugs left behind. Buy the good stuff the comb is terrible and the product didn't do the job. Better off picking them out by hand.
I bought this for my daughter and applied it as directed. A lot of the lice rinsed out and then I took the comb to her hair. I washed and sprayed everything down with this kit. Within 4 days I noticed her scratching again so I reapplied it and combed again. By the 10 day that you are suppose to wait I noticed that she has even more lice! After 3 treatments they are still there. Now to go and get another brand to get rid of these pest that should be dead! I feel so bad for my daughter!
