I bought this scale to weigh Items I sell on eBay. It's very accurate and doesn't take much space. You can measure the weight in either ounces or grams simply by pushing a button. You can go to their website and print the current postal rates to put under the clear cover. Other scales may be just as good but I'm glad I decided to purchase this one.
This little postal scales is just what I needed. It doesn't take much room, but weighs all the small packages I have. For the money, I am very happy that I don't have to wait in line at the Post Office!
I took some time to sort through unused items at home and sell on Ebay. I soon discovered I couldn't take advantage of discounted Postage Rates without having my shipments pre-weighed. The Royal DS10 paid for itself quickly. We also found it useful in the kitchen to create freezer meal portions when buying in bulk at the local supermarket. We often buy 7 lb cans of vegetables and 8 lb trays of meat. This scale makes creating portions for a household of two a breeze. And again, the savings pay for the instrument. I love the "save button" which allows me to weigh large items that would block the readout. Five stars all the way.
I like the beep when done. I like the HOLD weight button when using large packages. I like the big platform. I returned the other $32 scale which was harder to use.
Simple on and off button and I like how it turns itself off if it hasn't been used in a few minutes.
Work perfectly. No deviation in weight.
Works when shipping from eBay and it's not big and bulky perfect size to put next to your computer
I have a small craft bussiness and ship alot of items. So this was perfect for the purpose. It's nice and small so I can easily bring it to where I need it and it takes up no space at all.
This postage meter is space saving and very easy to use. The price is excellent compared to other retailers that wanted $40 and above.
These are fine if you don't need to weigh jewelry or need anything in between grams. It will only do 1 gram, 2 grams, etc.
