The tube functions as it should. I had a drawing that must have been a bit wider than 4' so I had to install one of the endcaps backwards and tape it shut.
The tube is awesome for important documents, posters, some paintings. It stands up to rough handling. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I was pleasantly surprised to find this item available anywhere for individual purchase. Ordinarily, mailing tubes longer than 36" are available only in case quantities of 50. The shipping charge was a bargain!
I had searched the web for these mailing tubes, but I needed to buy a large quantity when I only needed two. They arrived within 3 hours. Awesome!
