I bought this calculator for my daughter for middle school she loves it it works great.
Purchased for my great niece for school online as not enough in store for school supply list to be completed. Hopefully it will last the whole school year.
It is just like how you would get at the store it did not break and it is perfect!!!🤩🤩
Everything worked out great for my granddaughter
Per school request, I purchased the TI-34 calculator last year. Currently, my child is an eighth grader and uses it for algebra I. You can enter the problem as you see it on the page and shows the whole problem as inputed. It can be complex at first but it only took her a day or two to figure it out without help. I own the TI-30XA, that is great for basic, algebra, and trig. I used if for my accounting and statistic courses. Its a 1-line calculator and does not display entire problem as the TI-34.
This school year my incoming 7th grader is in accelerated math, so I wanted a pretty decent calculator that was better than your average but easy to function and not overly expensive. Make sure to buy some decorative duct tape to distinguish ones own because every kid will have one.
This is the second TI-34 calculator we have purchased. The first one worked out so well for the 14 yr old that I decided it'd be a good fit for the 11 yr old. School supply list requested a TI-30 or higher. Only thing in the store was either below what the school requested or way too many sophisticated functions for a 5th grader. This perfectly fits our needs. Plan to purchase 2 more next year when the next two kids hit 5th grade.
sturdy, clean interface, and light. bought it for my Granddaughter to use at school. was required but could not be found in a local retailer. Easiest way to do this is just order it here instead of burning the gas and fighting the traffic. quick delivery and always good customer service.
I purchased the Texas Instruments TI-34 MultiView Calculator as a student attending a Community College in my mid-fifties. As a result of being absent from a classroom for 25+ years, and needing math help, this was the idea calculator to refresh myself on the arithmetic I learned when calculators were not an option. I must admit I had to read the manual twice but was later able to use the calculator with ease.
This calculator is very useful for common record-keeping calculations, not just scientific. The 4-line multiview screen displays all of the entries for a calculation enabling them to be reviewed for correctness.. The answer can be used as a subtotal, allowing subsequent entries to be added to it. Depending on the overhead lighting, the calculator may need to be tilted for good visibility of the display, even with the contrast adjusted to maximum. I had to construct a stand with 30-degree tilt for good visibility. A matte finish for the plastic face around the keys would have been better than the shiny surface that results in a distracting reflection of overhead lighting. I was able to reduce this reflection by masking the keys that I do not use.
