I was tired of "dual power" calculators because almost all have a small button cell on the motherboard that is not designed to be replaced, and a small solar cell. So they stop working well after a year or so. This one has an oversize solar cell and works well even in dim light. It is small though, so not good for heavy use as a desktop calculator.
