I use them for our company files - (vendors and suppliers) as well as for employee documents. I think the way they are enclosed, is an asset....documents do not fall out and go all over the place. It is a inconvenience to always hole punch a document, of place it "loose" in a regular manila folder, because they almost always fall out. With the end jacket folder, that does not happen. The only thing that is not so great, is that there is not a "huge" color variety. That is the "only" thing negative, that I can say about this folder.
We use these files for ALL our files needs. They are strong and durable. They can easily hold 2 inches of documents and the metal fasteners hold the papers in even when the files are dropped (which could be disasterous). We have used these files from Smead for almost 20 years, and the 20 year old files are still in tact and keep those old documents safe.
i ORDERED THIS FOLDER BY ACCIDENT AND IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER. i USE THESE FOLDERS DAILY AND THEY LAST 10 TIMES LONGER THAN THE PLAIN MANILLA FOLDERS. THEIR MUCH STRONGER AND THE FACT THAT THEY EXPEND WELL THATS JUST THE ICING ON THE CAKE. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR MAKING A PRODUCT THAT LASTS AND WORKS SO WELL AND HELPS ME KEEP ORGANIZED.
These File Pockets are excellent for working on a job site and keeping the paperwork used there organized and portable. So many uses to organize the safety tool box talks, packing slips and purchase orders that need to be kept until they are sent into the main office. They are very durable.
We have used the the Smead Fastener File Folders for years and have never seen a decrease in the quality of this product. This is unusual because companies seem to think they can cut corners with no one noticing. Smead's quality has always been excellent and we won't use any other folder in our office. Thanks Smead!
I love how easy Smead makes it to stay organized! I don't know what I love most about these folders. Is it the sturdy quality of the folder? Is it the double sided fastener? Or is it the easy-to-label tab on the side? The answer is simple: I love absolutely everything about these folders! I use the fasteners to separate specific files, and the 1/3" tab makes it so easy for me to find what file I'm looking for. Honestly, these folders couldn't be better! Again, thank you Smead for making such a great product!
As part of a Commercial Real Estate Development team, the heavier stock of these folders make these files ideal for property, construction and tenant files which often are long term files. The fasteners on each side keep my documents neat and organized and the 1/3 tab cut allows plenty of room for labeling. These are my favorite file folders - easy to take to multiple meetings - easy to find in stacks of "other" folders and they really take a beating.
These pockets are the gold standard for my work with organizing clients. Not all bulky documents can be contained in a regular manilla file folder. The 3 sides ensure even the smallest items will not escape. These also will last a very long time so no need to replace even after heavy use. I like to keep hard copies of important documents. We all have computers but I am old school. These file folders are well constructed, easy to grasp and look like they should. Not like some school kid project.. Thanks for the Quality. I am happy to spend a little more for a quality product.
These folders work very well for organizing files. The only problem is the inconsistent number of right, center and left tab folders in each box. Every time i order a box of folders I end up with extra center and right tab folders and I don't have any use of them without the right tab as well. Other than that problem, they are wonderful.
