I work out several days a week, which unfortunately can occasionally leave me with a tension headache and soreness around bedtime and make sleeping difficult. I had been taking aspirin or Tylenol here and there even though I prefer Excedrin for headaches (the regular Excedrin has a bit of caffeine, which helps immensely with headaches but not sleep). I don't know why I didn't think of Excedrin PM sooner! Last night I had the perfect opportunity to try it out. Headache was gone within half an hour, and in another half an hour I was sleeping like a baby. I wasn't groggy in the morning, either. I have always recommended Excedrin to friends and family and will do the same for Excedrin PM. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I get the absolute worst tension headaches with that forehead tightness and pain at the back of my neck. It's really rough. Makes everyday tasks seem so much harder. I have used Excedrin Tension Relief several times now and it has helped clear up my pain all but once! That ended up being more sinus issues. Lol. I love this product before I discovered It many years ago, I thought there would never be relief for my demobilizing migraines. I Thank God for excedrin trension.
Working on a computer for several hours a day, or staring down at my phone for work or while at home can often result in a headache and tension in my neck and shoulders. Mostly, if I do not use my reading glasses while i am on the computer for more than an hour it will cause a headache. I had recieved Excedrin Tension Headache and gave it a try. Within 25 minutes the tension in my shoulders felt so much better that I realized I didn't have the pain anymore from the headache as well. I am a little hesitant to use it too late at night since it contains caffeine, and I have been caffeine free for 7 years. However, I did not feel any affects of the caffine when I took it so that was really nice since the caffeine content is rather high. I had not used this product before but was pleasantly surprised as to the outcome. I would use this product again when in dire need, only because of the amount of caffeine it contains. I get tension headaches that are an awful consistent pain, sometimes throbbing, and cervicogenic migraines sometimes when I wake up which are the worst. These work beautifully. I will say have something on your stomach before you take them bc I've gotten sick just from a mixture of the pain and only have meds and water in my belly.
I like that it works very fast, I think because it has a very small amount of caffeine that doesn't really affect your energy but it does affect how quickly it absorbs into your system and relieves pain. I could be wrong, but it seems to be a quicker solution to pain relief than other pain relievers I've tried. Thanks, EXCEDRIN!
With the Excedrin Tension medicine you take 2 pills every 6 hrs but do not take more then 6 pills with in a 24 hour period. I've been using the Excedrin for a little over 2 weeks when my stress n tension headaches arise n I have to say they are amazing. I've been suffering with stress n tension headaches for about 2 years now n have tried a ton of other over the counter medicine but nothing worked as awesome as the Excedrin does. With the Excedrin my headaches barely came BK n if it did it didn't come back for about 6 to 8 hrs unlike the other medicine my headaches came BK with in an hour or so. If you suffer from stress or tension headaches Excedrin Tension medicine is the way to go I totally recommend it. I don't find very many aspirin or not aspirin pills that take care of my headaches but I swear by the Excedrin tension headache that's the only thing that gets rid of my headaches
I normally go to excedrin before any other meds. They work pretty fast and I have no complaints. Love that it's HSA eligibile for those with health insurance debit cards.
