LUCKY ME, I'm an advanced senior citizen with no aches, pains or digestive problems. I credit Aleve with some of this. For many years, with my health care professional's knowledge, I've been taking 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening before bed.
This is one of my go too medicines for aches and pains. It's always effective and starts working within an hour. The price is very affordable and it has no side effects. Easy open lid for adults but is also child proof!
My doctor told me to switch to Aleve for minor body aches and pains. Primarily due to dosage requirements (1 pill versus multiple pills when using other medications). I genuinely did not think it would work but it does. I highly recommend giving it a try.
These are the only things that work on me. They are very effective and there is a lot of pills in one container. The price is great for the amount that you get.
Very good just what I was looking for for the pain.
This is the best pain reliever I've tried! After surgery nothing helped me, only these pills saved me. Acts very quickly and relieves pain for a long time.
I have chronic pain that the doctors used to prescribe narcotics to control. For years. I was miserable. I was even told I would be on them for the rest of my life. After quitting the narcotics (not for everyone, I know), I felt unbelievably better but I still needed help controlling pain. Aleve is the only thing that cuts through the pain. And the liquid gels are fast acting. I am so grateful that I have found this medication.
Used to you needed a prescription for Naproxen -- I worked in a pharmacy back in the nineties. Now since it's over the counter I don't buy anything else for pain. I like these gel caps the best. If I have a headache, I take two with plenty of water and it's gone within a half hour. My husband is in awe of this stuff as well........
These are great for the price. No side effects except for my headaches are gone. The packaging is great and easy to read for directions. They last 12 hours which is perfect when you are chasing to toddlers around.
I'm 1 of many people who cannot tolerate even a small dose of OTC strength Ibuprofen wo having 1 of the dozen or so “possible side effects.” Which, in practical terms, means that even if I have what starts out as a slight headache, with only some discomfort if I'm in bright light to perhaps some minor level of pain can quite quickly become a full blown migraine, in terms of the level %26 duration of pain. If you eliminate ibuprofen from your list of pain relief options, you learn that you really are not left with that many others. You're pretty much only left with the “A” section of OTC Pain Relief: Acetaminophen, Aspirin %26 Aleve. Acetaminophen has its place but for some types of headaches %26 but when it comes to pretty much all types muscle soreness %26 inflammation, sadly, it really doesn't help at all. I think everyone knows that, as with all medication, like ibuprofen, they each have their individual side effects but aspirin also comes with its own set of side effects although with aspirin it is far more common that for some people who live with ongoing medical conditions (that are in no relation to the headache and/or muscle soreness) taking aspirin is capable of causing very serious health issues. For some of the people who fall into this category Aleve is the only possible option to get relief.
