I used to use the older version of this.. the shampoo and conditioner for moisture. I absolutely LOVE the smell of this shampoo and conditioner. My hair holds the smell so much people always tell me I smell good and ask what perfume I have on. I tell them it's my hair and they all want to run out and buy Herbal Essences!!! It also makes my hair look healthier after all the color damage I've done to it. Alll around great product line!
I am 21 and I had never dyed my hair before. I decided that I wanted to dye my red hair black. A couple of weeks ago I went into a new salon to have my bangs trimmed, and was talking to the lady doing it. She commented on how soft my hair was, and I told her that it was dyed. She told me there was no way it could be. She said that normally dyed hair was brittle, with an almost straw like texture. i told her yes my hair was dyed and when she asked me what shampoo I used I was happy to tell her that I used Herbal Essences Color-Me-Happy. She was surprised at this, thinking that I used Salon products. I am just beyond the point of happy with this product. My hair is shiny, soft, and always smells great. I use both the shampoo and the conditioner of this line and I couldn't be happier. And the fact that a professional could not tell that my hair was dyed says so much about the product. Before I switched to Color-Me-Happy I was using Hello Hydration. I have been a HUGE fan of your products for many years and felt that I should comment about it. Thank you.
I originally purchased this product when my boyfriend said he loved the sent of the red Herbal Essence shampoo/conditioner. Usually i only use Garnier, but i decided to try something new. i didn't read the bottle, so i didn't know it was for color treated hair till AFTER i used it. But, even though I've never dyed my hair before, it works fantastic! It brings out my natural blond highlights and red lowlights, my hair has never looked better, and only after one wash! So many people have told me my hair looked AHmazing today. All i can say is, color treated hair or not, this product is sure to color you happy.
I bought this shampoo because I color my hair, but now everyone in my family uses it. I especially like what it does for my daughter's 'pool hair'. WIth her baby shampoo, it always seemed brassy and damaged. When she started using my Herbal Essences, her hair became much more shiny and silky. I love it! Not to mention that it makes my hair, which is allover colored, smooth and silky, and lasts a lot longer between colorings.
I have never ever dyed my hair and this stuff is amazing! I have the hardest time finding hair products that don't leave my hair overly greasy/ smooth. I used to use thermasilk and ever since I have not found anything comparable that lasts longer than a few washes before having to switch to another. I literally have over 100 bottles of different shampoos and conditioners, drives my husband crazy. I tried the color treated one first because of my experiences with others. This stuff is great, even calms the friziness a little. I have been using the tea shampoo and naked shampoo too with the color me happy conditioner. Love it!
I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for a while now and I absolutely love it! It really does make my color last longer and my hair smells amazing! It really makes my hair shine as well, people are always telling me how pretty and shiny my hair is, so thanks a bunch Herbal Essence!!!
yet another fabulous herbal essences product! from the first use, my color was shiny and vibrant. it was totally brought back to life! the scent is fantastic. it's a wonderful way to start the day, and it lingers in my hair. i've gotten many, many compliments on the great scent of my hair. thanks, herbal essences, i couldn't do it without you! ;)
Color Me Happy is one of the best shampoo for color treated hair. Hair is soft,shinny beautiful.
I have been using Herbal Essences shampoo for colored/dry/damaged hair for years and was very pleased with the product. I even had my husband and family using it. However, the last bottle that I purchased had a note on the front stating that it would be replaced by "Color Me Happy". It does not say whether this is a new product, only that it has the same scent. I assume that you are trying to appeal to a younger crowd, but you may lose some older users who liked the product the way it was. Once I can no longer find the old packaging, I will, reluctantly, have to find a new shampoo for my family's use. Color me annoyed!
I am so saddened to know that my favorite old herbal essence shampoo will be replaced by the new so called color me happy. At first I was excited to try out the new one since the old one is so good, Ive been using it for over 12 yrs, and when i did try the new presentation of herbal essence... it was a total disappointment and disaster. It left my hair dry and itchy and my scalp real flaky.. I only used it for almost a month and I could not take it so I went back to the old herbal essence and fixed all the damages. But now since I know the old shampoo will not be sold anymore I have been pushed to try other shampoos.
