My girlfriend has very small ear canals and these ear plugs are perfect for her. Any other size or design causes her a great deal of discomfort. I appreciate this product
I used the regular Mack's for a long time and I need them to sleep. I tried these and they work better for me because the regular ones are too long for my ear canal. I am glad I bought them.
I have very small ear openings, and these are the only earplugs I've found to be comfortable. They are also very effective at blocking sound. I sleep with these every night and I almost never wake up from any sound other than my alarm. Regular earplugs hurt my ears so I'm glad these ones exist, even if the "dreamgirl" ~for women~ branding is kind of ridiculous. But hey, I love pink.
A couple months ago my husband started snoring and ever since I have been getting terrible sleep. I would dread going to bed and would get exhausted tossing and turning for hours before being able to be so tired that I fell asleep despite the snoring. I tried regular ear plugs and they helped a little bit but it still hurt to wear them because they would be so big I couldn't get them small enough to fit in my ear canal and even when I could sometimes they would pop out because they would be so long that they would be sticking out of my ear and cat on my pillow. I would wake up with sore ears when I managed to be able to keep them in. Then I saw these and realized that it would be such a problem solver. I got them in a last ditch effort to save my sleep and I tried them last night and they WERE AMAZING. I'm not dreading nighttime anymore!
I was using Macks slim earplugs, but decided to try these. They are slightly smaller, and even more comfortable. While they block out enough sound for my needs (people talking nearby), they don't appear to be as soundproof as the purple slim ones. So if that's important, these may not be right. If the object is to block out loud snoring, these probably will not help. They are super comfortable and I almost don't feel them. I can easily hear my alarm in the morning.
What I like: these are so soft, like little marshmallows ! I like that they are not as long as some full size ear plugs. What I don't like as much: I wanted smaller ones, however, these are really to small, I mean to narrow. Maybe better for children, but still comfortable for sleeping.
fits but does not keep out sound
Earplugs are okay. They do not drown out much noise. They also fall out easily.
Bottom line, you wear earplugs to keep out noise. Sadly, these do not keep out noise at all. Still heard hubby snoring and every other noise. I'll be returning these.
these are totally unusable for me. They are way to small for an adults ear, I have to shove them in so deep I can hardly get them out in the morning. as for blocking out the noise, well lets just say hubby's snoring is still keeping me up all night..will not buy again and would not recommend.
