I work in a medical office where we culture throat swabs on agar plates so I decided to do an experiment. I swabbed some small items frequently touched before and after using the sanitizer and then swabbed them in the culture plates. Nothing is growing out on the cleaned items. That was 4 days ago and still no growth on the cleaned plates. I'll let it go 7 days but I'm very optimistic and very pleased with the results.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this to help kill germs and bacteria , since going through chemo my immune system is low and I catch viruses very easily and with flu season I am using every safeguard to protect myself. There is no setup to this other than to change out the included clips to hold your phone and other objects. Simply charge it sufficiently with the included cords and you are ready to sanitize ! The sanitize cycle lasts about a minute and a blue light will flash while it is working. I have used this to sanitize my phone , my keys, my wallet. As they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure !

I love the idea of cleaning my cell phone and glasses after a day "out and about"! The bag is well made and has a reassuring safety feature. I have used the bag a couple of times and I didn't see any germs or viruses on my items afterwards (but then, I couldn't see them BEFORE I used the bag, soooooo......)

I have used this to clean my family's cell phones, sunglasses, keys & glasses. I have also cleaned all my makeup brushes - and they smell clean when they come out of the unit in just one minute.
We're very pleased with this portable sanitizer! It's a quick process and we can easily sanitize our keys, glasses, phones etc., after using them in public places. We keep it in our entry way and use it daily. Very good product!
I can only hope it actually works. I’m simply trusting it’s sanitizing my phone, keys, masks, remote controls, etc. Not all fit, like AT&T too long. But, it is working so far as described externally. The box was smashed pretty badly, inside and out, thanks UPS, but it turned on and is charging and working, I guess. There’s a lot of creeps selling stuff. I think this brand is legitimate. Please tell me it is. Someone?
I purchased this to add an additional method of cleaning n95 masks that needs to be reused during the COVID-19 pandemic (I'm a healthcare worker). UV has been proven to kill the virus. I use the UV bag then hold the mask for 1 week in the garage at home until it can be reused. n95 mask fits well as do surgical masks. These masks can't get wet so there are limited methods to clean them. I want to confirm that n95 fits well if you remove the bottom clip.

So after seeing this, and reading that it kills up to 99.9 % of bacteria I was on board with giving it a go. I love the Homedics brand, they make a bunch of neat products. This UV-CLEAN is something I've never seen before. I think it's great that I can use uv light to kill off bacteria that's living on my personal items. The packaging for the product gives me enough info about what can fit in it, and what is included with it. Besides the information on the box, the instructions inside are easy to read and understand. The actual product is a simple shape and it doesn't take up hardly any room. It's a nice grey color and is made up of a rougher material, that can be easily wiped cleaned. You can see the UV lights in the bag, and are given a phone and platform clips. It fit my iPhone 7 just fine and I've cleaned my keys, glasses, rings, and chapstick. I'm sure I can fine many more items to clean. The charging doesn't take long and it's lasted me about two weeks. I love that the zipper has to be fully closed and in the correct position to work, helps keep my kids from turning it on and staring at the lights. A couple cons for me are that the platform base doesn't remove easy, and the storage area on the side for the cord is a bit tight. Over all this is a wonderful item, super useful, small enough to store in my bag for travel, and it looks nice enough sitting on my dresser. Definitely going to recommend this to family and friends.
Hi-I feel this is easy to use and concept is great but it is too small. Needs to be be 3 inches longer and taller. My phone (iPhone 6plus) just fits and my tv remote has to be jammed in. Dents the sides! Directions and design are strong. Size is weak. Make it bigger and I will recommend to many.
