As humans we trust. We trust that when we get up in the morning, the sun will rise. When we go out, we will be safe and come home. When we buy a product like the UV-Clean, that it is actually doing what it says it is supposed to be doing. I do like the collapsible case, I like how it will not work unless it's safety zipper is fully engaged. Thus blocking the UV light from damaging your eyes (a bad thing). I am familiar with Homedics and that carry's weight. I am familiar with UV light and its effects on germs. The only way to truly prove to myself that this is working as described is to have my own lab and swab to a petri dish some cultures. Therefore we trust in the Homedics name and the device that they have built. All in all, I really like the device. I hope it is doing what it is supposed to do.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new UV-CLEAN phone sanitizer. I ordered the purple one but it is closer to gray in color. It came with a USB charging cord and I charged it for about an hour when I first opened it. The case is expandable and fits my Moto X2 phone (with a case on it) just fine. When not using, it collapses easily and fits nicely in my purse. I do quite a bit of traveling and worry about germs in airports and on airplanes, so now I will be able to sanitize my phone wherever I go! It definately gives me peace of mind to know I have a way to keep my phone germ free now. Easy to use, convenient, nice style, and compact. Love it!

Instructions were clear to follow. I like that it's portable so I am able to take it with my while traveling. I also used this for my travel latop mouse.

Put your phone in the UV-Clean Phone Sanitizer and zip it up, pull up the pop up by using the tabs on both sides of the case. Push the button and it will blink blue for 30 seconds and then you open turn your phone over, close back up and push the button again for 30 seconds and you are done. It doesn't clean your phone just sanitizes it from germs, says it kills up to 99.9% of bacteria in 30 seconds.

I bought this a few weeks ago; and I am so glad I did. Previously I was using screen cleaner, produced for televisions and computers to clean may cell phone. That got the dust and smudges off the phone screen; but with increased consciousness of sanitizing things during the pandemic, I felt that my phone could use something more. This UV-Claen phone sanitizer is so easy to use right out of the box. It charges quickly and then is ready for use. It take just a few minutes to sanitize each side of the phone. And I feel much more confident that I am doing all that I can for my safety now during the pandemic, and for always, since there have been stories for a long time that cell phones are notorious for collecting bacteria and viruses.

I bought the UV Phone cleaner a few weeks ago and love it! It makes me feel like I'm keeping my phone clean and safe and I use it for eyeglasses and my car keys and I put money in there also to clean!! Bye bye bacteria!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the UV phone sanitizer in the mail a few days ago. My first thoughts are that the device looks good and feels well made. I like that it has different color options. It is big enough to accommodate any size phone for sanitizing. Comes with a charging cable and is ready to go out of the box. Phone goes inside case you zip it up and turn it on. It takes 30 seconds per side to clean your entire phone. Now the reason I gave this a 4 star instead of a 5 is because there is no way to tell if it worked or not. Yes there is a blue uv light but did it sanitize like advertised. The device is supposed to kill 99.9 percent of all bacteria. I can't test so I will take the companies word for it. Bottom line product look good and functions well. I am also a fan of homedics products
