Bouncy curls is the absolute best hair product I have ever used in my hair. I've tried so many products and wasted so much money on products that either make my hair sticky or stiff. Bouncy curls is just right. I have been out of it for 3 weeks and looked in 3 stores and none have it. Needless to say, I'm not having good hair days in this southern humidity.
I've used this gel for my curly hair for years! Has great hold, does leave a cast but once it's completely dry I release the cast and it's not crunchy anymore.

I am not however as impressed with the dry hair look it just doesn't give as much shine. I took a star away for that fact the pic below is my hair wet and on the right dry.
This is some good stuff. My only regret is not purchasing more than one. It locks in the curls for a few hours but you have to use it daily. I haven't had any build up issues such as residue but I honestly think it depends on the hair type. It leaves your hair shiny and it smells amazing. I love this product.

With that being said the product leaves my hair kind of crunchy. I probably would only use this product on date night or for pictures. The texture is looser than I'm used to but the packaging was super way to maneuver. This product is probably not for us with kinky, coily hair. Nice try though.
My hair is very thick and wavy to curly (2b/2c) and this gel feels nice on the hair but it doesn't hold very long especially in humidity. I live in the Ohio Valley where it is super humid spring and summer. I put this on my hair damp the first time because that usually works best for me but it didn't hold at all. The next time I put a whole bunch of the product on my hair soaking wet and then some more after it air dried for awhile. It held better and longer but still not the whole day. I went to a graduation and the curl was gone by the end. It smells very nice and would probably work great for someone who doesn't need a stronger hold. My hair is also very long and heavy, mid back length. I love Tresemme products! And it is a great price!

It did not keep my hair from being frizzy though. After having tried it, it would not be something I would purchase.
I ordered six bottles and not one of them is properly filled, there is a big empty gap at the top. That is a rip off. So disappointed in this delivery.
