This was a great product to use for twist outs on wash day for me. I have since found a product that leaves my hair a bit more moisturized, but this was a really good backup if I want a product that has hold without silicones, etc. I made a cocktail of this product with the coconut curling cream as per instructed and it always made my twist outs amazing. My only recommendation is to use more gel than cream if you want more of a hold, but less moisture and the other way around if you want more moisture, but less hold.
It is the perfect product to use to create twist hair styles - as it holds the hair in place while maintaining the softness of the hair.

My curly hair is typically very dry, and I feel like I've tried all of the expensive products. I used this gel after the deep conditioning mask and the leave in conditioner. I scrunched out the product and it really defined my curls, more than I have seen in years. I would recommend this product to anyone trying to embrace their natural curls.
This is amazing! The consistency os great for doing my two-strand twists. It gist a goos shine without feeling greasy and smells wonderful too.
I started out using this product with the sponge to wear the twist hair style but I didn't care for that style too much. I now put a quarter amount in my hand and message it into my fro and it really gives my hair a curly look and smell great. The only negative about this product is you have to wash your hair ever 2-3 days because it really gunk up your hair after so many applications.
I don't have twists or locs, I actually bought this to help keep my knotless braids looking fresh. I will say this smells really good. However, it does leave residue so that was money wasted for me. When it was time to remove my braids I used this because of it's moisturizing texture. This turned out to be exactly what I needed. The slipage this has to remove buildup from my braids was fantastic. When I washed my braids the moisturization and slipage kept my hair from becoming tangled. I went a bought two more jars of this stuff, that's how impressed I was!!
My hair is type 3b My curls are tight ringlets/ I have think hair and have struggled to ding the right combination to hold my curls I begin using Cantù twist and lock as my base and add Xtreme fell to hold it in place.
This is a CREAM, not a gel. It does not hold black hair in place. It will give some moisture though. I bought this thinking it would work on locs and it does NOT. It will oil them but as far as holding power....NOPE.
This custard is perfect for styling but absolutely horrible for twisting. This type of gel custard makes the hair stiff and shrink. Not compatible for twisting. I had to get my hair redid because of this. Hope yall learn from my comment. Usually with medium size parts, my hair comes out thick and flexible when u shake it it moves very fluidly. But this stuff got my hair looking like rat 💩
