I overheated in the microwave %26 scorched it now smells strange. Only retains heat or cold for 20mins max is my guesstimate. Will buy again %26 be more careful w/heating times.
I have used bed buddy's for years, finally needed to replace old one after 18 years. This one works great and has a better smell then the non-aromatherapy ones.
I needed a Bed Buddy since I loaned my original. Which, by the way, must be 20 years . I like this new one as it's sewn down the middle keeping it together better. The material is soft not scratchy. It's a nice size and easily draped where needed. Absolutely recommend!
I am so happy I purchased this. It really helps with a sore %26 achy neck/shoulders better than anything else I have tried. It warms in the microwave and is filled with some type of grain which makes if feel sort of like a bean bag. There are some herbs inside which offer a VERY light scent. I was nervous this could be overwhelming but it's not overwhelming at all, it is nice and so light. In less than 2 minutes you have a perfectly warm cozy wrap. I wrapped mine in a hand towel and placed on my neck/shoulders and felt so much relief. I love that there is no cord plugged in, so I can walk around or do dishes while it's on me. I also love that it stays warm for a long time. 5 stars! I highly recommend.
I have used Bed Buddys for years!!!. They are simple, straight forward and the BEST way to apply heat or cold to ANY part of the body. Most products on the market are made for SPECIFIC parts of the body and can only be used for one function or the other. I actually purchased 2 of the PINK for a baby gift...perfect for the nursing mother.
Bed Buddys are getting harder to find, so I was thrilled when I discovered that I could order online from Walmart and pick it up from my local store! Pop it into your microwave for just under 2 minutes (make sure it rotates, or watch to make sure it doesn't burn) and you will have about 20 minutes or so of warmth. I have many uses for it, one of which is just to keep me warm in my too-cold apartment, like when I'm reading a book or watching TV. I also put it across my chest or stomach in bed on cold nights and it warms me up and puts me right to sleep. It's great for if you have sore shoulders or arthritic hands, for example, because it's very comforting. Every time one gets too old and dirty I go out and buy a new one. I hate to be without. It's so much better than a heating pad since they don't make good electric heating pads anymore. If I could sew I would make an elastic, cotton "cozy", (i.e., sleeve) for it, so that it would stay clean for years.
Can't say I think the scent is lavender. I use my Bed Buddy often with a migraine so the smell could bothersome to some people….just sayin'. I do love that it's pink!!
Had an old Bed Buddy that needed to be replaced. It is at least 5 inches longer and I loved it. This shorter one is not comfortable around the neck of a larger person. Also recently purchased a white one which was too short, so when I saw 26" L I was ready to order. Really disappointed.
Tore after 4 uses and pellets leaked out
I just opened the package at 5:00 pm on December 22,2023. The package was fine, but the box plastic was tore open and when I took out the bag the sand stated to come out. I'm very disappointed and I'm returning it.
