Great brand of bandages that work well for our family. The soft fabric is more comfortable and seems to stretch better around the skin. It also seems to help with being breathable so skin doesn't stay moist.
These bandages from the Band-Aid brand I really trust and the product proven so many times. The Bandages are flexible, sterile, pain-free removal, give you full protection, and prevent more injuries. I have these bandages all over my house, in my purse, and in my car. I would highly recommend it!
Great for knees and elbows. A summer time must.
There's really no comparison when it comes to adhesion, durability and quality. Bandaid brand is the best when it comes to bandaids. I have tried generic brands and they don't work/stick nearly as well as the brand name ones. This style and brand are the only ones my husband will use. He is picky but I guess for good reason because these are some of the only bandaids that actually stick to your skin and stay in place throughout the day with exposure to water, sweat and flexion.
The bandaids are flexible and comfortable. The adhesive is strong so it stays in place. The bandaid also stays in place in water. It's a great bandaid.
I like the fabric material on the Tough Strips - it seems to hold up better and be more comfortable than the synthetic options. The adhesive is strong but the fabric material remains flexible and breathable.
Flexible strips are the best. You never know what will be in stock at the grocery store or pharmacy. Here instead of being stuck you can get exactly what you want. No water trips. No frustration. These go on easy and stay on. High quality fabric/material. Unless in one of those store that nothing stays on for a long time these stay on all day. You can have them as tight or as loose as you like !
BAND-AID Brand Tough Strips have been a personal go to in our family for years, however, Band-Aid brand will always be the bandaids we purchase when we need them and can have a say in which brand is bought. These go on and stay on. My daughter has slept with bandaids on and they haven't even started to lift the next morning which is amazing. She has even gotten these wet multiple times and instead of coming off immediately, they still hold grip and stay on for quite some time. We haven't had luck like that with other brands which is why we love Band-Aid name brand and won't buy another brand or off brand. They're worth it when the price point may be higher too. Haven't had to go through as many when they stick so well!
I'm a handyman and I'm constantly using the tough strips. They start to fray in about an hour and pretty soon there's 4 or 5 string hanging off. Even when I put on a fresh one before bed, I wake up to several frays and strings from the unraveling fabric of the bandage. I don't know how they'd fix it but I wish they would
I work with a bunch of other craftsmen in a pretty good size shop. We all use our hands to do our jobs. We have to, as there is no other way. Needless to say we go through A LOT of Tough strips! I bought the first pack of them about 6 or 8 years ago and haven't found anything better. Yet. These were some fantastic Band-Aids as the pad was full coverage, the adhesive would stick so well that they used to stay put for the entire work day (10 – 12 hours) and survive multiple hand washes and held up to most of the chemical spray cleaners we use. Even in a pinch I could get a couple days of them remaining in place undisturbed! Well friends, this wonderful product no longer seems to exist. The last 4 large quantity boxes (60 count) I could find at any of the 8 or 10 big box stores and Mom and Pop drug stores are this “new” style. Less Band-Aid, same price. The new style have about one third to one quarter LESS pad and won't cover wounds well. It really smarts when the wound sticks to the adhesive! The adhesive seems to have changed as well. It doesn't hold up to the sprays and hand soap too well any more so we have to change them out often throughout the day. Our leaders won't let us get them any more because we go through them so fast and we have to use a paper cutter to trim them out. It takes 3 to do the job of one now. We are looking for alternatives. I keep hunting everywhere I go and I have friends and family hunting for them as well. If J&J can tell me where to get them and priced fairly, I'd gladly look into it!
