Band-aid's waterproof bandage is exactly that. It stays on in the shower or washing dishes.
Bandaids stay on even after getting wet.
I like having Water Block bandages on hand for when you really need a band aid that will stay on all day through washing hands. This product does it's job, but I wish the bandage was a little wider. The padding in the center is to small and when you apply antiseptic cream, it gets on the sticky part of the bandage on the sides and then it wont stick to well.
Good price because it was and it said water block but it doesn't block a lot but is clear and you can't tell too much you are wearing it so that's good.
Imo these do not adhere well. Very short time becomes un waterproof.
the bandaids were never delivered and could not get a refund!!!! Very displeased!!!!
Applied this bandage to a scratch on my daughter's neck. A couple of days later we tried to remove the bandage after noticing her skin was showing signs of irritation and she was extremely uncomfortable. The top layer of the bandage came off but the adhesive remained on the skin and is impossible to get off. My daughter was crying frantically as we gently tried removing the adhesive with soap and alcohol wipes but we were unsuccessful. After being absolutely shocked that a product like this was even allowed on the shelf and witnessing the pain and agony my daughter is going through we threw the rest of the box away and vowed never to purchase this product again. Hopefully the adhesive will eventually come off after a few more attempts but who knows, we may have to seek medical assistance. This whole experience has left us horrified, upset, dissapointed, and traumatized. Every time I see a Band-Aid product from now on all I'll be able to think of is my daughter screaming and crying which breaks my heart. I strongly recommend NOT buying this product.
Had a minor injury on my hand and used one of these to keep it dry. After less than two days my hand began to ache. The adhesive is super strong so I used baby oil to remove the band aid. Once removed my hand had a bright red rectangle in the shape of the pad. About 12 hours later it is still red and painful. I want to know what's in this and if I have an allergy?
Used this on my 5yr old daughters ankle preemptively in order to prevent the back of her shoe from rubbing against her ankle while she walked. There was no sore or cut there, it was only being used to keep her shoe from rubbing. This is what she was left with. The entire area of skin that touched the pad was left swollen, red, peeling, and sore just like a burn. I'm now having to contact her Pediatrician to see if she needs to be brought in so they can treat it, or the best way to treat something this severe since this has never happened with other Band Aids before.
I just opened my new box of this bandaid and I applied it on my finger. About three hours later, I tried to take it out BUT IT WAS SO HARD to come out! I worried about that it could rip my skin off. SERIOUSLY. Luckily my cut was small and it didn't heart, but only the top layer of the band aid came out and the adhesive stayed on my skin. I used soap to remove it but unsuccessful. This product should be recalled. It's very dangerous. I'll throw the box away now before my family members use it.
