My wrist pain From Rheumatoid Arthritis was unbearable and I was at my wits end! Then I discovered Thermacare. It literally changed my life. when the pain hits, I'm able to sleep again and my hands function again in the morning. I always have it available and when the pain gets bad, I get my Thermacare. It's the best tool I have to fight the pain!
I had a bad accident. Five years ago I fell and hurt my right shoulder and lower back. I no longer waste money on icy hot, tiger balm or any other brands out there. Thermacare works wonders.
I had hurt my arm and had been suffering with pain for days. Nothing took the pain completely away but Thermacare did.
It works great. The only problem is that I mainly use it for neck and shoulder to neck pain and so end up tearing my hair in the process. If only they made them in different, I don't know, forms (not sticky, maybe) that you could just wrap around your neck or shoulder area without pulling hair.
It works temporarily but good for alternative from pain pill
Bought a pack of 4. Once opened they DO heat up nicely and the adhesive works well. However, on 3 of the 4 wraps the package seals were incomplete (the corners had air gaps where you could look into the bag) which lets air into the bag making the heat packs ineffective by the time you buy it. The one that worked though was excellent.
I bought a package to use on a sore shoulder....opened the package and tried to apply it to my shoulder. The adhesive didn't work, the unit kept slipping. I tried wrapping it with an elastic bandage. The unit never got much warmer than body temp. Tried a second one the next day thinking I got a dud with the first....same results.
Very disappointed, I tried 2, thinking the first one was bad. Neither one got hot, I'd say more like lukewarm at best. It did stay that mild temp for hours.
This is suppose to help with joint pain but barely heats up. This is useless as the pockets of heat cells do nothing for the pain.
I use the thermacare heat wrap for my knee and it shifted kind of behind my knee and I have burn marks all on the back of my leg where the Heat was
