I have been using the ThermaCare heat wraps for years. Whenever, my back flares up I use one and I am on my way to recovery. I prefer to use them during the day as opposed to nighttime because of the warmth it releases. If you don't want to use it for the entire 8-hours put it in a ziplock bag and it will retain it's heat for another use.
These are the best for all day portable heat. I have been using them on my back and rotating them to my stomach for many, many years. Just wish they were not so expensive.
Always good to keep in your suitcase, I have fractures in the lower spine, I find that the one for women for cramps fits my lower back perfectly because of the. V shape. They work great
The product is very easy to use and worked very well. The heat can be kept for more than 8 hours, and it has helped me eliminate the pain in the back.
After spending a day at Zion National Park, these helped my back from going stiff and kept me warm during the chilly morning. I keep a couple of extras on hand in case my back acts up. I'm 5'1 and 120 LBS and the S-M fit me great. I can wear the L-XL as well if I tighten the belt a bit.
Put one of these on during my menstrual cycle and helped with the pain while at work. I wore it on my back for a while then turned it around to use on lower abdomen. Very nice heat without having to plug in a heating pad. Easy to use while working, traveling, etc.
These heat pads are more effective, larger and longer lasting than the heat pads specifically marketed for menstrual issues. One lasts nearly all day and stays heated, which is just more convenient, cost effective and environmentally friendly.

At least this FedEx delivery person ... delivered to the correct address. Wrap is Perfect, because it wraps around. I just about stay on heat pads and having a wrap gives me more ability to move around ... even if I am in a wheelchair.
Overall, this is a very helpful product. The heat lasts a full 8 hour day. The adhesive is strong but not so strong it hurts to pull it off. The only drawback for me is that I stand most of the day. If I sat in a chair all day, these heat wraps would be 5 star. For best results, sitting or leaning up against something would give you more contact with the heat.
