L'Oreal provides a professional level hair product that delivers professional results without having to be a professional. You can use this product alone with success or ask a friend for help for better results. Either way this product is a great value and a great money saver.
Finally a color thats not too brassy on me! I uploaded a couole photos indoors and out so you can see the differnece betweeb the warmer and cooler lighting. Love this kit! And it is going to save me a ton of money! ðð¼
L'Oréal makes the best hair highlights and hair color that doesn't dry my hair out. Walmart had a great price on the petite box. I waste a lot in the full size box because I only frame my face with highlights. I received it super fast from Walmart.
I cut the inside liner out of the cap. Hair pulls through easier . Then I use sharpie to mark circle around holes I want to use. I pull rhe front and sides, my husband does the back. I did thin small amounts for a sunkissed look. Processed 50 minutes. Looks like I had done at a salon. Beautiful. I had enough product with Le Petite for the sunkissed look, and I have long hair.
I have used a lot of different methods, and brands; of bleach on my shoulder length fine fragile thin hair for years. I have used all the gentle ways( add ins to the bleach) I have done the salon way ( my hair flew off when they blow dried it) a lot of salons won't even bleach my hair. But for some reason. This one had worked for me and I have had minimal damage comparing to other ways. I do add a plex or hair pre oil boost in now days into the mix but either way. It works for me, and way cheaper than salon and no fried hair.
These are getting harder to find. I have used it for years. I don't use the cap or pick and I easily divide the ingredients into two applications so it is very affordable. Great results every time!
You really can't beat this kit for home coloring. I've used it on and off for several years. Whenever I try something new I always come back to this one as it is foolproof, gets great results and so cheap. I really love the cap as it helps you choose where you want the hi lights and how many you want. I pulled about 30 fairly thick strands all over my head, left the product on for 30 minutes, rinsed it off then followed with toner for 20 minutes. Result is gorgeous! Worthy of $150 at the salon. I definitely recommend a toner as it does pull brassiness, at least for me it does.
TLDR Didn't fry my hair👍. Gave great looking results👍. Plastic hook is garbage quality and metal hook is too small👎. Will definitely buy again👍 I purchased the lighter one for short hair, not the Carmel one. It was enough product to cover almost half of my thin collarbone length hair. The only reason I removed a star is do to the plastic hook. While being the perfect size, after a couple of times pulling the hair through the cap, it became so bendy that it was useless. I didn't get the full result I wanted do to having to use the metal hook which is so small you can barely see the highlights afterwards. However, the cap is great quality, it has two layers, top layer has pre poked holes, bottom layer does not. I didn't get any bleed though (cheetah spots) which was a big fear going into this. Another big fear was that it would fry off my super processed pre lightened hair. It did not 😅 (I did a test strand first btw) I only left the bleach on 15 minutes because my hair was already so light, and I checked the color/integrity of my hair every 5 minutes. Overall super happy and will purchase again when my roots need touched up, BUT I will be buying a metal hook in the lager size from Amazon or Sally's. Those are my before and after (no filters, indoor warm lighting) the before was a couple weeks before, so I actually had a little more level 7/6 dark blonde regrowth.
I might have liked it if they'd have sent the rught color. My fault for not checking before using. im a brunette and they sent blonde and its awful. Tried putting a brown over the highlights but still blonde. Guess it'll have to grow out then maybe ill try caramel!!
