I have never clean my own carpet before. I have always paid someone to do it. I decided to buy this one based on the reviews. I am sold! I have been so pleased with this product. I really feel that it has left my carpet just as nice and clean as if I paid a professional.
Very simple to operate. Amazing suction. My carpets have never looked better. Worked perfectly to clean the carpets in my vehicle as well.
We have a new puppy in the house and hes still learning how to go potty outside. I cant stand a dirty or smelly house so this is perfect!!!! It was super easy to set up and its crazy how much this pulls out from the carpets. The water is so dirty by the time I empty it. It is a little hard to use in the couch as well as the stairs but it leaves everything super clean.

This cleaner will pick up your life, and put it back together. I have two boxer puppies, so I purchased this for my area rugs. In the picture, you can clearly see clean vs dirty. This cleaner is the absolute truth. Easy to put together, and use.
The Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner is really nice. I bought one a couple weeks ago and couldn't believe the job it did on my carpet (that I thought we were going to have to tear out.
Don't expect miracles on very old, set-in stains, but this is great for keeping carpets clean in between professional cleanings. I moved into a house with beige carpet that's probably over 20 years old. And it looked it--stains in all the high-traffic areas. I bought this steamer and tried it out on the worst areas, and they definitely look WAY better (see before and after photos), but some small dark stains only lightened, and the dark sooty areas near the in-floor air vents are still sooty. But once I replace the carpet, I think using this regularly will work to prevent those stains from forming and setting in. It is all plastic and some parts feel a bit flimsy, so I'm giving it four stars.
I recommend I've only used it in my living room so far but it seemed to really clean them. It didn't dry in 45mins like it says but I've used other shampooers and it seemed to really get the water up and they were dry in half a day.
This product apparently was used before because it came preloaded with hair and dirt in the carpet cleaner. Some of the plastic was broken off too
Was a great machine until brushes stopped. Found a broken plastic part to be the reason. Manufacturer doesn't make part available. Maybe HOOVER should make this common faulty part available rather than provide replacement machines ...... especially to those who have a warranty that has run out ................ not very pleased
