I have been searching for a cream to replace a discontinued product from another company. I had used it for over 10 years with great satisfaction. I have tried at least 4 different well-advertized creams. This night cream is it! It is not too heavy and absorbs well, yet it moisturizes so well that in the morning my skin is still soft. I use it both am and pm-- in the AM I use the Neutrogena serum first, in the PM I use a freshener and then the cream. My skin has never looked better!
My skin was getting flaky so I figured I'd add a heavier night cream, to balance out my Healthy Defense moisturizer. This stuff works great. It's smooth, absorbs quickly, lightly fragranced, and doesn't bother my acne-prone skin. I think it's given my skin a smoother appearance over time, especially around my eye area.
I have been using Neutrogena products since I was 16. I'm now 54. I constantly get comments on my skin and I attribute it to both good genes and the products I use. This night cream is not greasy, but I feel like it really penetrates to soften my dry skin. I would definitely recommend it for its quality, the job that it does, and its reasonable price.
I have tried all other moisturizers expensive and not. This is by far the very best one that I've ever used. I also use it in the mornings before my makeup and my makeup stays fresh looking all day long! But it's getting hard to find. PLEASE, PLEASE,PLEASE don't discontinue this wonderful product!!!!!!!
I am absolutely head over heels in love with this product! I would hate to think of how much money I've put into buying pricey formulas that do absolutely nothing - so when I bought this I just wanted something that didn't dry out my face any more than it was! OMG!! It is like smoothing on liquid silk!! My skin is softer, the texture is better and the tone is fantastic. If I could I would bathe in this product daily!!
The reason why I wrote this headline is because I used to use Clinique's anti-gravity cream and that got d/c. Then I tried something organic from Avalon and I was happy until they "improved" their formula and my face certainly did not think that was an "improvement." So after a long search for a new night cream I finally got tired of all these different creams, one for fine lines, one for blotches, one for lifting and firming, one for sensitve skin oh well you get the picture. Some of them would work but not hydrate or the other way around. I decided to just focus on a cream that would thoroughly moisturize my skin, not have thousands of ingredients in them, not be too expensive and hopefully make my skin look more soft. Well I found it! Neutrogena Ageless Essentials Continuous Hydration. It is indeed a wonderful cream that does not make me break out and feels like it really moisturizes underneath my skin. It smells fine, is easy to apply, lasts a long time and my face is looking younger, soft, replenished and totally revived. I just hope that this will become part of the Neutrogena family as I do not wish to go on another crusade searching for the right night cream. My face does not like all this experimenting either. IMO Neutrogena does not offer too much for more mature skin like mine. Their Rapid retinol line is great but it dried out my skin severely so that option is gone. I hope I can gracefully age with this wonderful hydrating night cream. Im 45.
I really enjoy using this night cream though it gets hard to find it in local stores. It is non greasy and does not make me break out. I use it along with grapefruit acne cream wash and your healthy skin anti wrinkle eye cream. works like a charm! hope you will not discontinue this product.
I am 29 and , although it's a little better with age, I still have problem skin. It is breakout prone but it gets dry and dull a lot too. This night moisturizer has really helped keep my skin in balance. After I wash my face and put this on each night I feel so soft and clean and pretty! I have been using this night cream for around 3 years and it still makes me smile. I have tried many things, but somehow each piece of my skincare regimen ends up being a neutrogena product! I feel ALOT more confident about my skin these days!!
Great product. I've used it for years. Very light and does not weigh down the skin. I have a cystic acne condition and this product in no way irritates my skin or clogs my pores. I definitely recommend this product. So the million $ question is ... "What happened to the Day Cream equivalent???"
I like this product. Restarted using Neutrogena after trying to find a complete Neutrogena product line where all products of the same line can be used, but now have to use several different products due to most of them being discontinued and not being able to find in stores. Will give try once again. I always go back to the old saying, "If it isn't broken, don't fix it"
