The innovative application bottle is so easy to use. The foam covers completely without drips and has a lovely scent. This product covers my very resistant gray areas and actually seems to last longer than any of the other dyes I have tried. My hair is soft and full after coloring. I wish JF would sell the included after-conditioner on it's own; it is fabulous! I highly recommend this product and it truly is the only one I will use from now on.
I grew up with my Mom using his products, which some found strange for us— but all of them worked without drying and hardening our hair. I've been using Precision Foam Colour 2A Luminous Blue Black{Spring & Summer} & Precision Foam Colour 5G Brilliant Brunette® Medium Golden Brown{Autumn & Winter} for at least 10 years now— they're GREAT on gray hairs, last what seems to be forever & my hair strands never break nor does it fall from my scalp. *Normal loss of dead hair.*
I have never dyed my hair at home and this was my first time EVER! I have curly hair and alot of it! When I mean alot, I mean I used 2 bottles to do my hair. The application process was super easy and the gloves were nice. I was worried because I have some grays. The dye does a good job on covering them up, I really can't complain. The color is a bit darker than what is shown on the box but it is it matches my natural hair color. This product is easy to use and well worth the money.
I had my dark brown 44 year old hair colored and highlighted 2 weeks ago by a professional and didn't like the blonde foiled highlights nor the ash color my hair had. I used the 5G, Medium Golden Brown to get a warm brown color with copper and golden highlights and that is exactly what I got. (The golden highlights are obviously what I got with the color over the foil.) I have been coloring my own hair for about ten years and this is by far the best product on the shelves. It distributed easily and looks "brilliant" just like it states. The length of my hair is middle of my back and I was able to use just one box. JF, do NOT get rid of this color please!
I have been coloring my hair for 20 years and this is the easiest at-home product I have ever used! The foam worked great. I had more than enough, with a little extra, for my long hair and it covered every strand. The conditioner works great. My hair feels healthy, shiny, and soft. The color is the best. I have never used a product where the result was so true to what I was seeking. I used the 5G. This is the first time I have used this product and it is now the only one I will buy. Thanks alot!
I DECIDED TO TRY SOMETHING NEW AND DIFFERENT SO I WENT AHEAD AND PURCHASED THE PRECISION FOAM COLOUR 5G MEDIUM GOLDEN BROWN. I WAS A LITTLE SKEPTIC AT FIRST THAT A FOAM COULD ACTUALLY COLOUR THE ENTIRE HAIR WITHOUT LEAVING ANY PATCHES. I WAS IMPRESSED ON HOW THE FOAM SATURATED MY ENTIRE SCALP GIVING ME FULL COLOUR, TRUST ME I HAD SOMEONE LOOK. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT I WANTED MY HAIR TO TURN OUT LIGHTER NOT DARKER. YOU SAY THAT THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT WITH PREVIOUSLY DYED HAIR THE COLOUR COULD TURN OUT DARKER BUT I HAVEN'T DYED MY HAIR IN A LONG TIME. I WAS EXPECTING A LIGHTER COLOR AND WAS DISAPPOINTED. I UNDERSTAND THAT I WILL NOT GET THE EXACT COLOUR BUT I WAS STILL EXPECTING IT TO TURN OUT LIGHTER. I DON'T MIND THE COLOUR IT TURNED OUT BUT THAT'S THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD.
Saturates well but the color comes out darker as compared to other brands I have used of the same color.
I have dyed my hair since I was 13. That being said, this is by far the most quality and professional at home dye I've ever used. However, the color is totally off. I am Irish, so I naturally have pale skin, blue eyes, and golden brown hair. I wanted to go back to my natural color, medium golden brown, and picked this up. This is not medium brown or golden. My hair is as dark brown as it gets before being black. It looks super harsh against my skin. Ant it's not even golden! It looks like a cherry colored chocolate color. It's not what I wanted at all! Super easy to use and amazing, but choose a color a shade lighter or more than what you think you should buy.
This product was easy to use but I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the results. 5G is NOT "medium golden brown". It's DARK and BURGUNDY! It took a good 6 weeks before the RED tones went away. Definitely stay away from this shade unless you want your hair to be the color of Sharon Osborne's. It's been several month now and I'm just getting brave enough to try the product again in a different shade. I'm trying Light Natural Brown this time. I hope it turns out better.
My normal color is medium brown with a few grey roots. I have short hair. I used 5G on my hair on Sat. and I now have magenta/burgandy color hair. I am wearing a hat to cover this unnatural looking color so different from my own. I followed the instructions to a tea. What happened?
